The Magic's 3-ball defense was appallingly awful.

Not surprising. Marc Davis is crew chief. He's one of the worst. Tim Donaghy level. So is Monte McCutchen, Ken Mauer, and Scott Foster. Tony Brothers, Ed Malloy, Pat Fraher and Bill Kennedy at times flirt with Donaghy level officiating.

Completely agree. Marc Davis is an embarrassment and as crew chief, even worse.

The trouble is when they used those replacement refs for a few preseason games a few years back, they were even worse than the guys you listed above.
