The Magic have always had some really bad marketing/social media campaigns.

The "Pure Magic" slogan

This is the latest and one of their worst.

It's an amazingly dumb idea. You would think that a team that hasn't had an all-star in more than a half-decade would do better than this. I get that it's a joke meant to drum up more of a conversation. But, it's lame. Vucevic is a cool enough person that he probably wouldn't take offense. I couldn't imagine any team trying to pull this off with any of their own all-stars.

Anyways, actually take some time out and vote for Vucevic. You can vote daily on http://NBA.com , the NBA App, with the Google Assistant or by searching for your favorite player or team on Google.

This is so transparent. Inside they are hoping he really doesn't make the All-Star team so that they can pay him less on his next contract.

I can just see the pitch in some office now.
"and then we say DON'T vote for Vooch. Reverse Psychology!!! He will get the most votes ever."
"you mean, he won't get any votes. See, reverse psychology! HAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAA! brilliant, let's do it"

Janitor passing by slaps his forehead.

I'm glad we don't get national media coverage because they would surely roast the magic if they saw this.

It really just reeks how dumb, delusional, and out of touch this franchise really is top to bottom.
Being a hardcore fan like we all are I assume on here, I can't ever remember being this disappointed beaten down like I have been this year.

Nice BR article gets behind Vučević.

Predicting Which Players Make the 2019 NBA All-Star Game

Nikola Vucevic has never wanted for neat-o stat lines. He's the lone source of consistent production Orlando has enjoyed during the post-Dwight Howard era.

That his numbers came on obscure teams made him easy to ignore. He's harder to overlook now. The Magic are throwing a wrench in the East's hierarchy of postseason hopefuls, and Vucevic has elevated just about every part of his game—including his defense.

As of now, he is on pace to become the seventh player to eclipse 20 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal per 36 minutes with a true shooting percentage north of 55. His prospective company: Kareem-Abdul Jabbar (twice), Giannis Antetokounmpo (in progress), Charles Barkley, Anthony Davis (in progress), Kevin Garnett and Nikola Jokic.
