Wait a damn minute, do I see an Orlando fan wanting to draft yet another PG that can't shoot
Half kidding as I'm a Morant fan but reminds me too much of EP
EP averages in college 19PPG/6APG/7RPG/.50 FG%/.26 3PT%
JM averages 23PPG/9APG/7RPG/.52FG%/.29 3PT%

Oh god. Another player with potential to one day develop an nba skill sometime within the next 5 years. Great...

Morant would be absolutely fine.
No PG is going to please everybody here. Nelson got hate at the end here, Payton got hate, DJ gets hate, all of our backups that have been fine elsewhere but crap here has gotten hate.. we just need someone that can penetrate defenses, set players up, space the floor a bit, and not be a complete liability on defense.
I mean ya'll be wanting some mysterious PG that is going to come into the NBA shooting 50% from three his rookie year or something. Everybody was down on Fox because he couldn't shoot coming out but he's a 2nd year dude at 40% now.. meanwhile everybody's draft darling Trae Young was the "guy were were missing on offense" yet is 38/25 this year.

Numbers don't tell the story of a player. He plays much differently, and actually seems like he wants to get better

Morant's release does not translate to the NBA. He needs to completely redevelop his jumper. But the stat lines above suggest he is a bit-better prospect than Payton was.
All NBA rookie PGs suck. Drafting Morant means the Magic is writing off the 2019-20 season.

This is a classic trap game for the Raptors. The Magic found some grove on offense and will be focussed on defense.
The Raptors are favored 3/1 in this game, and I like the Magic on those odds. The line is +7, and at home, I really like the Magic to cover.

Lowry and Valanciunasout and Ibaka playing poorly.
But: at home on the season, the Magic are being outscored by 7.9 points and are 6-11 ATS at the Amway Center.

Hard to take gambling advice from a guy listing 2 guys that have been injured for several games, and will miss tonight’s game, as playing poorly brother. Do your homework before helping people lose money brother.

I would watch this game, but I work again tonight and we're gonna lose anyway. Sad to see that if we had beaten the last 3 teams we played, which were all extremely beatable, we'd be in control of the 6 seed right now.

Phoenix beat us in Orlando. Toronto beat us in Orlando when we were playing good. I’ll guess Toronto wins this one easily.

8 of our 19 losses have been by 20+ points... I'd say 20 point Loss is on the table.
