If we can acquire DSJr without giving up one of the BIG, I will tattoo WeltHamm on my forehead.

If we manage to trade for DSJ without including Bamba, Isaac or Gordon the new nickname could be.....drumroll please.

DSJ,Powell for Simmons,Grant,Birch,unprotected 1st ... dallas saves 12 mill for this summer and get a first... while we fill out our roster

Josh Jackson, Dragan Bender, Oubre Jr, Okobo, maybe even Mikal Bridges or Warren.

We’d likely have to give up either Isaac or Bamba to compete with those.

I liked someone’s suggestion of DJ + 2019 FRP (top 4 protected) for Smith + filler. Not sure Phoenix would offer up their pick, so that might give us the edge.

Easily our first this year top 3 protected. This draft is weak on PG,. Out of the top 3, no PG prospect that has shown more then DSJr so far. Not sold on Ja

IF we can grab DSJ without giving up DJ, it’d be a big plus for mentoring DSJ and having some scoring from second unit. I’d give up 2019 frp and expirings if they’d do it...Isaac if we had to.

My take is Smith's value is not that great right now.

I would not give up Gordon, Issac, Bamba or even The Magic's own first round pick.

I'd look at something that involves Simmons and The OKC pick maybe even kick in the high 2nd swap The Magic have with Cleveland this year.

Absolute best case is involving New Orleans in a 3 team trade. We send them T Ross, they send their 1st rounder to Dallas and we add another asset or two not named BIG or Vooch.

reading the phoenix board, sounds like their fans don't even want him... dallas doesn't think he'll get much of a return either... i'm thinking a pick would do it

If we somehow stumble out of this with DSjr, AG, Isaac, Bamba and our 2019 pick then A LOT of people around here will need to start puckering up for some ass kissing to WeHam.

Sounds like Mavs trying to shed Matthews too.

If we take him on, 1-2 wings are out the door (2 of Fournier/Simmons/Iwundu/Ross) + Grant and/or Birch.
