What trade could you see the magic make come the deadline?

I predict Ross for Fultz will go down come the deadline. I don’t think we trade vooch unless we are blown away with a high draft pick or good young player.

None. We resign Vuc and Ross. Roll out the same starting lineup + pick #6-10 next year and again miss the playoffs.

I second the Ross for Fultz trade. I think they keep Vuc, not sure of any teams that would trade for him and I think he leaves in free agency

I agree this whole board would probably have a meltdown if we stand pat.

If you listened to Hammond’s interview last week (not just reading the transcript-the intonations in his voice were very telling) he said that we are looking towards the future. Without saying we would be sellers at the deadline (which would destroy any leverage he has in negotiations) he effectively said that we’d be sellers at the deadline. I fully expect Vucevic and Ross to be gone at the deadline-potentially Fournier too

They won't trade Vuc unless a great offer comes. Ross most likely to be moved. Fournier has been discussed, but I think they most likely keep him.

Honestly, we probably don’t do anything.

I haven’t agreed with MagicMatic on a lot lately, but I think his prediction is spot on.

Yeah keep him because nobody is going to take that 17mil for a negative impact player. Fournier is stuck here, unfortunately.

I expect a small move involving one of our expiring for a likely late 1st rounder.

We then enter the summer with multiple first round picks and significant cap space. That is where change will happen.

But I can’t deny that all these doom and gloom posts from ignorant regulars has me debating whether or not I should hope for nothing at all just in the off chance it cleans this board up.

If it involves Ilyasova i'm going to scream. Remember the last time we got taken to the cleaners Ilyasova was in the deal. I'm still mad about that deal.

I'm hoping for more...but, realistically, my prediction is TRoss for a young available PG -could be Fultz, Rozier, or someone we haven't even considered. Failing that, TRoss for a worthless late pick :banghead:

I hope you're wrong. Ross is the only vet I'd actually want to keep long term.

I see us making moves, but most likely for some legit guard help. I don’t think Vucevic will be traded for a variety of reasons. One, he’s the teams only all star in the last 7-8 years. The Magic are pretty close to losing their fan base and trading an all star who wants to be here is PR lunacy in my opinion. The only way Nik is traded is if another “name” player is brought in or we trade for a FRP from one of the worst teams in the league.

I can see TRoss being moved but I’m not sure why we’d do a Solomon Hill trade with the Pelicans like I see everywhere. What do we get out of it? I’m unfamiliar with Hill on all levels.

My personal hope is that we move Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon. Both have regressed this season significantly. A combination of those 2 should be able to bring some help to this team.

In the end though, I wouldn’t be surprised to see anything. We could stand pat, we could go fire sale or we could go anywhere in between. We’ll see in about 2 weeks.
You look confused...let me fill you in.
