Do we even want to win at this point?

For all the good Harden is doing for the Rox, by the time the playoffs hit, he could hit a wall for all the pressure he's putting on himself.
As for the game itself, It will be another James Harden show where we will be on the losing end of the game.

Or, all the energy he is expending now will deplete his playoff stamina.

Hopefully Fournier can break out of his slump tonight so we can trade his ass

I think Harden is going to try tonight unlike last game where he was content to jack up 3's even though they weren't going in. Evan's "great defense" is going to get exposed.

Johnathan Isaac!
Me likely!!!!
Ferocious defense time and again. Deep shots aren’t falling but he is making his impact offensively as well.

That sequence was enough evidence for me to move AG in favor of Isaac. Isaac looks like a gazelle out there and AG is just stomping through the lane.
Isaac gets the steal and then a graceful Euro step by one defender and around another. AG plows right though a guy.

No one on this team is untouchable for me.
With that said, I’m not giving up AG without something significant coming back in return.
Who do you expect / want in an AG deal? — don’t just say “a point guard.” Give a name.

CJ. I would send Ross and AG and whatever else necessary for CJ.

I’m a big time CJ fan going back to his college days.
However ...
He will be 28 before next season begins and has a career assist rate of just 2.9 per game. Sure, playing alongside Lilliard has to be factored into those assist numbers but I’m not convinced that CJ is the right target.
I would not complain and would be excited for 2019 if we made that move. But I would have questions as well.

CJ isnt a point guard. and not nearly worth his contract.

Harden is working Simmons. Put your best defensive player on him.

I agree about his fit but could not possibly care less about his contract.
If we made that trade along with the eventual transition away from Vuc, we would be building around CJ, Isaac, Bamba and the 2019 pick. With 3 of those being on small rookie deals for years to come we can afford CJ + another large deal when we find that person.
... that is a luxury of building through the draft and the “evaluation season.” We are about to lack many large contracts. We can afford to over pay for someone we really want. I just don’t know that CJ is that person.
