Squats, front squats, farmer's carry, walking lunges should be basic core of his workouts ( with core strenght ).

But now he needs to sit out and recover.

This is another issues with drafting bigs, their injuries are simply worst. People are not built to be 7 footers.

Not necessarily bigs per se. Often heard remark around here in trade topics lately is that Jrue Holliday is injury prone - this is due to recurring tibial stress fractures and he's PG.

True but bigs have more leg issues ( or at least it feels that way ) .

Embiid, Bamba, Bender, Noel, Davis,Griffin, Isaac, Simmons are just names of top of my head that had some sort of leg injury during rookie year.

Foot issues, yes. There was an article about it I've read recently stating centers have twice the risk comparing to other positions. But lower leg fractures are more/less evenly distributed.

I think you said Isaac couldn't play big minutes either and he's averaged over 30 mpg in the last 10.

The WWE performance center is here in Orlando. They should send Mo Bamba over there to train with Seth Rollins.

I enjoy banter with pepe but he/she is wrong quite a bit and loves to talk in absolutes...

This is Vuc's world, we're just living in it.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I remember now that some OPP poster had idea about red-shirting Bamba for road games for a season. As he would play home games ( and i guess close road games) but goal would be develop body and not put too much stress on it whenever he plays.

it's complete hindsight but from today's perspective it was probably smarter idea than anybody though it was at times.

Stress fractures legit heal 110% without surgery, and they actually become stronger than they were before even (as long as you don’t come back early). This is knowledge of stress fractures I’ve personally heard before, and until someone can informatively tell me otherwise.
Really cool to see Cliff did all of that stuff for an injured MKG, and will do it for Mo too now as well. That’s like when someone’s taking a step back so that they play even better when they do go in. Knowledge is power!

Shame for him but let this be a time where he can get his body more ready for the league come next season.

I'm really sorry he's hurt but the idea of a redshirt developmental season for him is kind of exciting...like Embiid, Simmons, etc. He could really focus on self-development without the pressure of on-court performance...Normally, not a fan of that but he's exactly the type of underdeveloped project that could really benefit from private tutoring, film work, fitness and therapy time under a watchful eye...interesting.

Great. Now when he plays disappointing mediocre basketball next year we can say "it's still technically his rookie year".

And counting. Roughly 20% of the season to date. No reason to think he can't continue to handle it, and it's not a small sample size.
