Should we trade for LeBron?
With reports coming out of LA that Jeanie Buss was seriously considering trading LBJ, would it be wise for us to jump in this summer?
I would work out a sign and trade with Vucevic plus 2020 1st round pick!
While he's having one of his worst year publicly, a more humbled environment in Orlando would do him wonders!

Re: Should we trade for LeBron?
lol I doubt the lakers thought of trading lebron... they're trying to recruit stars to play with him. Ric Bucher just trying to make himself relevant again or being used to create drama... maybe payback from the pelicans.

For sure.
Also, if we are trading for him, we shouldn't trade Vuc or our better players, because we would have a very limited time frame, so we would need to trade something like Bamba/Isaac + 1st + future considerations + AG/Fournier (cap reasons)
C: Vuc / Birch
PF: AG / LeBron
SF: Lebron / TRoss
SG: Fournier / Iwundu
PG: DJ / Fultz

Sure, lets propose this years 1st, Fournier and Grant for Lebron. Hey, at least they get a 1st out of it.

God no. If that happened I'm changing teams for his stay here. No jokes.

lol. No. Absolutely not.
It’s 2019, not 2010.

I can understand not liking LeBron’s personality, but for a guy to come into the league with more hype that any other player in the history of the sport combined and leave it with 4 MVPs, 3 rings and likely the all-time scoring record...
LeBron James is in no way, shape or form overrated. He’s by literally any measurement one of the 3 best players in the history of basketball.

Re: Should we trade for LeBron?
LeBrons 35 soon, 15 years on those tires. He couldn’t carry a more talented Laker team to the playoffs, yet took scrubtown Cavs by himself 4 straight seasons. Father Time is on Lebron’s door. Plus I honestly can’t stand him anymore. Liked him ok in his youth, but now he’s turned into an arrogant politico-turd. I’ll pass. Still isn’t the GOAT. GOATS don’t have a losing NBA Finals record.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Re: Should we trade for LeBron?
Not sure he's the best player in any one category.
But he's got one of the most well rounded skillset's of any player in NBA history.
If not the best. He really can do just about anything he wants to on the court, and do it at least "well" or better.
Would not be at all surprised if he goes into coaching after he retires as a player.
But I'll never be a fan. He just rubs me the wrong way.
As most superstars do, actually.

Re: Should we trade for LeBron?
If LeBron were part of a radical overhaul that guaranteed us NBA Finals runs for the next 2-4 years, then...yeah. Sign me up.
Instead, it would probably be the Lakers situation all over again.

Being wrong is your right.
Hate the person? Sure, that’s fine. He is an egotistical diva.
Hate the player? Sure, that’s fine. His game is unique. Everyone has their tastes.
Say he isn’t the GOAT? Sure, that’s fine. There are so many greats that this is impossible to define.
But to say a player of his accomplishments is overrated is just ignorant.
