I interpreted it as "they came out and played zone the entire game and that took us by surprise" more than their effort.
This. He was referencing their zone defense for most of the game.

Evan has justifiably been a whipping boy around here for his shoddy play, but he definitely cares and I've always liked that about him.
Me too and I think the next team will appreciate it as well

That's exactly what he said "they really took us by surprise with the zone for 48 minutes... i mean I've never seen that... ever."

What a win. Proud of the guys for grinding it out. Mem has our number and we were able to dig deep and pull out a needed win.

It's March and I'm loving this.

Side note: we tied the most wins in our rebuild tonight.

Yes good point. That's always been our Achilles heel. Game 1 of the 95 finals, Hakeem scores of a tip in to get the win. Game 4 of the 09 finals, Lakers missed a 3, we could not get a rebound and Fisher hits a 3 to send the game to OT. That and missed FTs, had Nick made one of the 4 and had Dwight made one of the 2 before Fisher it might have been a different story....time to change that.

Didn’t watch most tonight, but I like those double screen curryish plays they are running for him. Should do more of it, I feel like some of other shots are not the best he could do. They should be running the double screens more and the iso pull ups less

He barely touched the ball all game.

Well I am a AG fan, but he needs to stuff the stat sheet even when he not scoring. Not happy with his intensity lately, he looks tired or hurt or like he is upset about lack of offensive involvement

He scored 20+ points the last 3 games prior.. so if "lately" you mean this game, I guess?

Yeah, not sure what you mean. He had possibly his best 3 game stretch of the season before this one

Orlando is now on a 6-game home winning streak. Philly is a mediocre road team. Make it 7 !!!

That old dinosaur Lebron really is master of choking. 8-25 /1-7 for 3 , 8 TOs in game where Magic needed him ... oh well...

I decided to stop watching the team 4 games ago and they keep winning, maybe I was jinxing them. So I won't watch them until they lose a few, LOL, might help.
