I think he should get some consideration but the field is strong. Doc, Bud, and Denver's coach might have stronger cases.

I'm still shocked the Magic have won 6 straight, and beat the Heat on the road in a back to back in essentially a playoff game. This is the same team that lost to the Bulls, Knicks, Cavs, Grizzlies, and Wizards like 2 weeks ago.

This team really dug in and matched the Heat's intensity and level of focus in the 2nd half. The next step is consistency. If they can get to that level of play every night, they might just make the playoffs. I don't know if I trust it yet. This team has been so up and down this year. They've earned these last 6 wins. They're playing like a mature basketball team. I give Clifford for building that.

In addition to the playoffs, the Magic have a real shot at being .500. That's a testament to Clifford. 16 game improvements with minimal roster changes don't happen that often.

Sorry, I missed all but the final minutes.

It looks like Dragic had a tough night shooting. Was that just good luck for us or was someone out there shutting him down?

Dominant rebounding and another stellar three-ball defensive effort off-set a poor shooting night that had high TOs. This sort of win will make Coach Clifford smile.

difference is jerian grant in the rotation.
can't believe he almost singlehandedly tanked the whole season by crashing the bench unit down. he affects the intensity of the whole game from the PG position with his timid play in my opinion. it's no surprise our first 5 game winning streak happened with briscoe in the lineup, and 6 win one happened with MCW.

MCW did a wonderful job on him along with our timely traps on the baseline to get the ball out of his hands.

I am stoked. That was a hell of a bounce back game by JI. Miami couldn't stop Nik, never can and never will. The refs tried their best to give this one to Wade but just couldn't get over the hump. Just super proud of this team right now.

Fantastic win. Great effort by everyone, our offensive rebounding and defence kept us in the game in the first half when we couldn't buy a 3 and struggled against Miami's trapping. In the second half the offense adjusted, we shot better for 3, the defence got even better, and we got a huge win on the second half of the back to back. Clifford deserves huge credit for the way he's instilled confidence and toughness in the team.

Great game by Vuc and Isaac. AG struggled with his shot, but was great on D and on the glass. MCW's defense and passing were also big factors, he took some bad shots in the first half but played much smarter on offense in the second.

T-Ross goes 3-13 (3-11 in 3pt) and we still win.
early in the year, he'd have to go 7-11 in 3s for us to win.
These guys are picking each other up.
AG with not a great shooting night, goes and gets 10 boards.
The score box is full of complete games, everyone scores, gets boards, assists

I think Rivers should get coach of the year, but Cliff earning some votes!

Sometimes a swift kick in the a** is all it takes for a shift in how to focus in on the task at hand. In this case, a reemergence back to the playoffs after a seven year absence.

I'm super glad the team is on a mission to make the playoffs. Getting a win over Miami and owning the season series is an advantage for the Magic. The Pistons are next on the schedule. Another team fighting to stay ahead of us. The Magic must continue to drive through the gauntlet and stay focus on winning these next few games.

In just a few highlights you can tell the difference. MCW actually pushes the ball up the court Grant would just be walking it up.

Amazing what happens when you're motivated. Didn't look like he shot very well last night, but these little facts make all the difference.

yeah grant was scared to do anything... no fast breaks, no penetration, no passing, just floated on the perimeter hesitating and burning clock until forced to do something. MCW is a brick layer, but he's aggressive as hell and has a bit of passing skill so it benefits the team way more even if he's not shooting it well.

Don't forget the rebounding! MCW plays like his career is on the line and really hustles and crashes the glass too.
