Isaac always gets the 4th quarter shaft of the minutes but in the 3rd he woke up big time to get us out of the hole.

I wish I could give half a vote to Vuc and Isaac.

Isaac played a quality defensive game.But have to go with Vuc on this one. He was rock steady the final 3 minutes of the game and provided some scoring when we needed it. I think he went on 5-point scoring run when they left him wide open on a three, and hit a top of the key shot when they played zone. Also hit that turnaround hook while double teamed.

It's happening!

If you factor everything that was at stake with this game, I think it may be my favorite Vuc performance of all time. He played like an All-star in that 4th quarter and closed the game out for us. Incredible bounce-back performance for Isaac too in the second half but I've got to go Vuc here.

Vuc for the huge game. Proud of Isaac for keeping his confidence.

And cummerbund or mittens or whatever to Chris Bosh for killing the heat's momentum.... what a dumb decision that was to let him talk so long.

I went with Vuc. He played like a leader who's taking his team to the playoffs. So proud of him.

Vuc.... Always the constant..... Props to JI for turning the game around and MCW for once again making an impact in one way or another.

big facts! JI was crucial for us defensively

I voted for Vucevic. I thought he had a pretty good night all around. He has gotten much better at knocking rebounds out to teammates when he is matched up against guys he struggles physically with. I thought his decision-making tonight was really good. He didn't force his offense. He only tried to score when he established good position.

Isaac was terrific from what I saw, but I missed the first few minutes of the game and people were lambasting him in the game thread for whatever happened at the start of the game. I love that he makes his offensive reads before he catches the ball, but he needs to improve his finesse on entry passes. He works on the offensive glass and that will really pay off when he has the body to match his physicality. His decision-making at the offensive end has improved dramatically since the start of the year. I loved the possession where he caught the ball in semi-transition above the top of the key, turned to see nobody in front of him, and proceeded to attack the basket without hesitation.

Those are really the only two players that I thought played all that well tonight. MCW is an exceptional defender though. He is more athletic than what I expected and his off-the-ball defense is terrific. We have a really nice group of players in our rotation that you can count on to play great team defense and to bring good effort at the defensive end every night. That's going to give us a chance to win a lot of games even when we aren't shooting well.

I thought Augustin was crap tonight. He wasted a lot of clock on a bunch of possessions trying to force his 2-man game with Vucevic. Miami just wasn't going to allow it to happen. It was another game where his stat line flattered him because of the late game free throws to salt away the win.

I'm going with Isaac. I don't think we get to the point where Vuc is closing in the 4th without Isaac jumpstarting the team at the start of the 3rd with his scoring on offense and play-making on defense. Vuc did what an all-star on a playoff team was supposed to do, Isaac played beyond what was expected of him. That's why Isaac gets the vest for me.
