Hoping the team can stay as focused as they have been. Vuc has a history of doing well against Drummond, and we'll need it. Gordon has to do his best to shut down Griffin. If we can slow them, it will become a shootout between Isaac, Fournier, DJ and Ross vs Jackson, Ellington and Kennard - and I like our odds in that matchup.

Slowing Griffin will be the key.

The Pistons haven't lost a home game since February 2nd. Nine consecutive wins at home.

That said... the first game off a long road trip is usually really tough on the legs.

Should be an interesting game. I think the Magic are due for a clunker, but I hope I'm wrong.

Griffin is the best player on the court. However, they’ve struggled as of late, so who knows

Thanks for making the thread on such short notice SOUL. We have been in every game against this team. Hell we have had double digit leads on them in each of the matchups this year. The problem in every game was maintaining that production. We also have not won at Little Caesar's arena since they opened it this year. That has to change tonight.

Neutralizing their front court is going to be a big challenge tonight. Vuc has to do his work early on Drummond and control the glass. Gonna need a huge defensive effort out of AG and Isaac against Blake tonight. We also have to win the guard and bench matchups. As long as we keep our turnovers low (especially the live ball ones), reach 25 or more assists as a team on offense and defend the 3 point line, I really like our chances tonight. Another playoff like game for us. I'm really hoping we rise to the challenge once again.

I know Blake and Drummond are beasts but I keep looking at their roster I'm unsure of how they are so good this year. Well not "great" but not trash either. Weird ass roster but they have enough players that can get hot at any moment/be Magic killers.

We have to defend the pick and roll better then that. If not this is a loss. Also we need to get off to better starts. We can’t keep digging our selves into a hole.
