A lot of top mocks have Garland closer to or even inside the top 5 now ... as they should.

His injury is what caused him to drop. By all accounts he has recovered well and will be 100% for workouts.

He will go long before that Brooklyn second rounder but making a move up to the late 1st / early 2nd for Mfiondu Kabengele to be our backup PF would be fantastic.

True. I don’t see many high quality point guards being available to us at 16 in this draft.

This is also good because Brooklyn gets the higher BUT Orlando owns that pick. :D

I had yelled loudly after they won the drawing.

Here is to even more success tomorrow.
Wait, so Orlando gets the Brooklyn's pick too?

Sent from my SM-G955U using RealGM mobile app

we get their 2nd round pick
Can anyone clarify? So although we finished tied we get the better 1st round pick and we also get a 2nd rounder from Brooklyn, if so how are we getting this 2nd rounder?

I believe the Magic is best served with a combo forward in the draft. We will see.

To sum up, we traded our 2nd round pick in 2017 (Ivan Rabb, #35) to Memphis for Nets' 2nd round pick in 2019.

I'd say we should go for a scoring wing, someone similar to TRoss.

You are correct.

I think it will be a wing too.

Darius Garland or Bol Bol might be BPA at #16. If the Magic draft Garland, I expect him to be auto-traded for another asset.

Is there anyone we could or should dangle our 16th pick along with Bamba and/or Fultz? I like both players as prospects but right now I think Id rather resign Vuc/Ross/Birch/MCW. Our team is just clicking so well right now I’d hate to lose anyone and destroy what seems to be perfect chemistry.

Watching Porter Jr. slide and then seeing the outcome, Garland has a warning sign.

MPjr suffered a severe back injury.

Garland suffered a routine meniscus injury.

These are not comparable. Garland will go in or near the top 5.
