Orlando Magic Co-Founder & Senior Vice President Pat Williams has announced his retirement from the Team.
https://www.nba.com/magic/magic-co-founder-senior-vice-president-pat-williams-announces-retirementPat has done so much for this organization and if it were not for him, a lot of us would not be on these Forums today and I doubt I would have the career that I have now.
We should all be grateful to him for everything he has done for this team and our lives.
Thank you Pat Williams!

Thanks Pat.
Sadly we don't have lottery balls this year, so he could attend it again and net us a #1 pick

Pat is the Orlando Magic.
So it's sad seeing him go. Thanks for everything.

So sad he never got to see the Magic win a championship. But then again, most of us won't either.

Pat is the founder of the Orlando Magic and his daughter was the idea for the name Magic. Hope they honor him in a huge way. I cant believe he was still working until now.

Best of luck to (one of) the founding father(s) of the Orlando Magic, I really appreciate everything he's done for the team, not just his good lottery fortunes!
Hopefully we can win a 'ship in his lifetime, but that might be a tall order as one doesn't seem on the immediate horizon.
In any case, I'm sure he will continue to find ways to bring joy to himself and others.

In college he came and spoke to an organization I was with, challenged us to take on the 52 Books in 52 Weeks Challenge. If i'm not mistaken he crushes that no sweat every year. He reads 2-3 books a week from what I recall.
