Detroit is still rumored as a potential destination for Westbrook. They fought hard down they stretch. They easily should be among the teams listed as potential playoff attendees this early in the game.

My vote is yes barring health. If Orlando isn’t 100% healthy next season they could easily miss the playoffs.

If Fultz is 75% of what people thought he could be, we are a top 3 team in the East this year. Teams have reshuffled and have to learn all new players and schemes. Many great players are totally out this year. It would be a huge disaster if we didn't make the playoffs.

Injuries or not, we are a freaking Lux Tax team. Lux Tax teams don't miss the playoffs. If they do, they usually blow up that next off season.

With Westbrook and a healthy Blake, they'll easily make the playoffs.

Griffin's health is a major issue though. It's now 4 seasons in a row that his body breaks down at the end of the year and into the playoffs. Last year he was mostly healthy (played 72 games) the most he's played in 4 seasons - but was injured for final 2 weeks and missed games in the playoffs.

The Magic aren't a luxury tax team. They are approximately $5.6m below the tax threshold with the required 13 roster spots already filled.

Orlando won't be anywhere near luxury tax next season...about $22m below the tax threshold - and that's with DJ's cap hold.
