It sucks that the Warriors took the "We Believe" branding years ago. I think that would really work with a team called the Magic.

Yeah, that kind of seems like a no-brainer in hindsight.

Actually, if I remember correctly, "We Believe in Magic" was sort of an unofficial fan slogan in the early years.

The marketing team probably saw last year’s team with the best chemistry yet since the last era, and how our two biggest FA’s, highly sought players, somehow stayed on board through the wild free agency waves, and thought.. ‘yeah, this really feels like Magic above all’

.. waiting for statistical analysis on how ‘good chemistry’ teams punch higher than the expectations, on average.

I think the better slogans usually incorporate a play on the team name and nails the culture they're trying to promote. The better slogans around the league IMO include the Jazz's "Take Note", the Bucks' "Fear the Dear", the Raptors' "We the North", the Bulls' "See Red", the Grizzlies "Grit N' Grind." But "Magic Above All" is simply okay. Sure, they're promoting a culture of family. They might have been able to go an extra step and either relate it more to the team name or some aspect of the city. At least it's not "WE WILL" .

This is another sign that the Magic are seem to be gearing up for a full on rebuild. Even the press release doesn't feature the most recent Orlando Magic logo; it's just "Magic Above All" in a different font with our secondary logo (the curved ball with stars following). The press release's language hints toward this as well with "This new brand campaign turns the page on the next chapter of Orlando Magic history." Besides the new City jerseys and court, I'll be disappointed if they run back the same logo, main court, and jerseys. It's long overdue.

The Pure Magic slogan was too simplistic and lazy... our owners are from Michigan right? What's their slogan... Pure Michigan on their car tags. I'm glad they got rid of Pure Magic.

It’s really not good. It’s not catchy and it makes no sense.

Marketing departments are pretty terrible in general.

This is an embarrassing swing and a miss..

We already struggle being a small market and then they throw out this garbage.

It would also be great if they finally put the star back in the damn logo

Brand marketing campaigns creating awareness among consumers is really helping businesses to flourish their trades. We also get several car sales text messages with various schemes and loan plans day to day. And it's true that consumers are some or the other way attracted to these mails or messages only before actually buying assets.
