November and December look really really hard.

Re: 2019-2020 NBA schedule released
January has been our achilles heel for a decade. We were the best we've ever been last season, but still had an abysmal 5-11 record for the month. I glanced over the records, since Dwight left, in January:
Wins:
2
3
2
2
4
3
5
This January we have a 6-game road trip to the West coast (plus Charlotte at the end). We also visit our division on the road during the month (Miami, Washington, Charlotte). Will be a tough month even though the competition won't be as tough as Nov/Dec.

2009/10: ZERO net wins on a 59-23 roster
2010/11: three net wins on a 52-30 roster
2011/12: ZERO net wins on a 37-29 roster
2012/13: MINUS 9 net
2013/14: MINUS 10 net
2014/15: MINUS 10 net
2015/16: MINUS 9 net
2016/17: MINUS 7 net
2017/18: MINUS 6 net
2018/19: MINUS 7 net
You are objectively correct. Even in 2010/11, the winning rate in January was 3%+ lower than the seasonal average. Management and Coaching need to look at these number !

Based on Vegas O/U lines, the Magic seem to have a pretty favorable schedule this season...ranked 22nd.
Month by Month:
Month by Month:
Strength of Schedule ratings for all 30 teams based on Vegas O/U lines. Suns and Thunder tied for the hardest schedule with .519 winning percentage. (Equivalent to a 42.56-win team). Bucks have the easiest with .490 winning percentage. (Equivalent to a 40.18-win team).

Re: 2019-2020 NBA schedule released
Relatively easy schedule to start IMO.
A lot of home games and some, on paper, beatable opponents coming to town (Cleveland, New York, Memphis, Indiana, Washington) before Thanksgiving.
December and January look really tough to me. A lot of good teams and a lot more road games.
I do think the closing stretch is pretty easy too. The last 18 games or so the Magic look like, again on paper, that they could really be able to gain ground.

The poll averaged 44.4 wins based on the rough maths. I agree with that number. Actually quite strongly.
We fans definitely fave the VEGAS over for Orlando !!!!
