He would really be an outstanding fit on this roster. His season kind of went under the radar last year but he was arguably a top 3 shooter in the NBA. I think he would be a great fit next to Isaac, and as a 2 guard next to Fultz if we move forward with him as our starting PG. I would consider an AG for Hield swap.

You would just have to trade for him knowing there is a real chance he gets maxed this offseason.

Guy is career 42% three point shooter on 1438 attemps and almost 6 attemps per games. Guys like him simply don't grow on threes.

You could do before offseason something like :
Gordon and 2020 pick for Hield and Ariza

Yea i would prefer Hield over Russell too by a mile.

Other topic:
I really like Clifford & he turned this thing around, but one thing irritates me. In every interview he talks about us missing playmakers, shooting or penetration, but under his helm we selected 2 bigs. In Charlotte with the exeption of Monk (who never played), they drafted always bigs too.
I know WeHam makes the the call, but i doubt the coach doesnt have a big influence too. Maybe not which exact player, but at least the player type Wing, Guard, big.

It's just hard for me to fathom why they would trade him. Bogdan is the same age and isnt as good as Hield. Maybe they would just rather pay Bog at a discounted price? But Hield feels worth the 110 million he is asking for right now. His skillset is too valuable in todays NBA. I still think they extend him, it just doesn't make sense not to.

Yea dont think they gonna trade him too, but Gordon would be great in Sac too. A year a go i woudnt say that but Bagley shows promise as a Center now too. I thought he is too bad on defense to play Center, but he looks much improved and even upped his Shotblocking. Fastbreaks initiated by Fox with AG & Bagley as running mates :o

Fox/Bogdan/Barnes/AG/Bagely would be a legitimate core going forward. Him and Fox in the open court would be a deadly combo.

At least we don’t have to waste any more time reading trade proposals of Fournier/Bamba/2020 lotto protected first for Beal.

Beals a beast, he fits the meta of the NBA perfectly and can fit on almost any team. Still really young too. Nice move by the Wizards

Gordon is also much better suited for what Kings try to run, high volumen, high pace offense with lot of transition.

He isn't available. They are just negotiating right now and Hield took it public. He will be a RFA after this season, so he is pretty far away from being a realistic target.

Ok I might sound like a broken record again BUT where the heck is our player measurements? Isnt it the deadline already? Other teams are releasing theirs which shows a few surprises..

My comments here are only based on what I've seen in all the preseason games, and IMO only..

1. I see Bamba as a nice backup to Vuc, with tremendous upside and growth, he could be a beast in a few years; however I am concerned about his lack of "fire"; he reminds me of Moe Harkless when Moe was here..lack of energy and stands around. I see him as the successor to Vuc, though. It is interesting, though, that he is a good shooter, from distance.

2. Fultz lacks offensive aggression, although this could be due to his rustiness and time away from the game. He does have this "swagger" about him which is neat..reminds me of Earl "The Pearl" Monroe and Kyrie Irving, although his shot is not like Irvings' yet.

3. Isaac may be our greatest asset, especially on defense. He enters the game with fire and energy, unlike Bamba.

4. I am concerned about Gordon..he seems to be a hybrid...and has not shown significant improvement over the years...I think he has reached his ceiling? Maybe a good trade piece for a shooter.

5. Vuc and Fornier will be more of the same from last year..maybe a lazy year from Vuc due to his big contract?

6. We really need more shooters. I like Ross coming off the bench and flying 3's; but we need more first unit shooting.

I also meant to add that I think Fultz will come alive, with time, as long as he remains healthy and his shot is not hindered by TOS recurrence. The key is his health. He could become a star. (but he also could become a bust)

Has anyone noticed him "twitching his shoulder/right arm" in the preseason..I have not noticed.

I would take Hield or Bogdanović in a second.

The Kings front office might be one of the few that we could pull a fast one on and sell them on the upside of Mo Bamba for Buddy Hield.

The Gordon part i see a lot different. I'm not really a fan of him offensively, but he probably made the biggest improvement of all our drafted rookies (in his time here, so not Dipo). The guy was a 42% FT shooter at Arizona with no offense at all (50% TS). Last year alone, he improved his playmaking by a lot.
The problem is mentally. He was drafted at the wrong time in our rebuild. He wants to be a star now, but in reality he is the perfect roleplayer. He would be a really good player, if he played to his strentgh.

I would give up anyone on the roster not named Jonathan Isaac for Hield. Like without question.
