This game should decide who will go to the next round as Greece should be the #1 seed.
Unfortunately I will have to root against Vooch.
BTW, side note, one of the brazilian referees, Guilherme Locatelli, used to play basketball with me for our city team. He already did it in the 2016 Olympic Games, etc, he even was one of the referees for USA 82 x 76 Spain in the semi-finals.

Put a sticky on this thread to ensure it does not get lost in the shuffle. Gonna be good to watch some actual basketball before the NBA starts back up.

Top 7 teams automatically quality for the Tokyo Olympics. 8-16 get into the qualifying tournament in the summer. So if you advance past the 1st round/group stage, you're guaranteed into the qualifying tourney.
France (top 6 team) and Nigeria (easy schedule) should make it to the knockout stage (final 8).
I think Montenegro sneaks into the 2nd group stage which would be a solid accomplishment for them.
Group H is indeed the group of death. Canada I don't believe survives unless Khem average 18 & 12. Canada will be punished for having a lot of their great players sit out for no valid reason.

Nigeria's coach getting a lot of blame for that loss to Russia. They lived and died by Okogie which was strange. Russia is experienced, but does not have the better talent/athleticism. Nigeria's in trouble, it'll come down to that Argentina match now.
Aminu 10 points, 2-of-4 shooting, 6-of-8 free throws. 5 boards, 2 steals. He needed to do more but that's a coaching issue.

Russia beat them with nothing but experience.
Vorontsevich and Fridzon are in 30s .
Okogie is fringe nba player that got lot of exposure due solid defense but fans overhype him because his hustle and heart is everything Wiggins lacks.

Just turned on the France/Germany game, Evan hit a big step back to ice the game for France. He looks like he's in good shape, hope it carries over.

26 points
10 rebounds
3 assists
Evan whooped them

Fournier carried France and they barely survived a not good Germany side. Evan's teammates looked really shaky down the stretch other than Gobert. De Colo, Albicy, Batum all missed open looks and/or made errors.
