I have the entire NBA League Pass on auto-pay each year. I don’t even know how much it is, $100??

But given how much I watch around the league, not just Orlando, it more than pays for itself.

Thats what i have, and its $200 (unless you get the premium which is 250)

Still worth it. I easily spend far more than that attending one game live.

Yeah, the Magic suck this year but I’m in Texas so I watch a lot of the Mavs as well.

Maybe
but lets say that oladipo isnt kept, and they have a core of Wall, Cousins and wood, then they are in our position, not good enough to be a contender, not bad enough to get a top pick

And those 4 1st rounders are real nice, until you realize that if healthy and motivated, the nets are likely to be in the finals multiple times over the next few years so those 1st rounders are going to be in the late 20s or 30. Not terrible obviously, but this isnt a team thats going to be getting the #1 pick any times soon

All that is besides the fact.

It is proven that we are a poorly run franchise.

They don’t have their own picks, so there is no benefit to them losing games. And for what it’s worth, that was the rationale behind surrendering all of their own picks to get Westbrook, but we have seen what transpired in the year plus since they made that deal.

Brooklyn has some very real potential for implosion. Nobody seems to get along with Harden and who knows if Kyrie really has any interest in playing basketball. This doesn’t seem to be a core that will get along and neither does it seem to be one that will coalesce in response to adversity. I like Houston’s bet against Brooklyn.

Houston should've taken Simmons. He just seems the overall better and more interesting talent even if he has limitations. Could've been flipped in the future for a different player, and likely get a better return than Oladipo - if he even resigns with them.

The Pacers were already good and got better in that deal.

That’s what they tend to do. For as much credit as small markets like Okc and San Antonio get, Indiana should be included right there with them.

They may never reach a championship ceiling, but they year after year make savvy moves through trade and through drafting, to keep themselves far more relevant than we do.

They are well run from the top to the bottom. We aren’t.

Pelicans without Zion, Lonzo or Bledsoe tonight. NAW got the call up to start and answered with 37 points on 23 shots, and 8 rebounds. They lost to a healthy Clips by 5.

Sure would be nice to have on the Magic right about now.

Pacers are top shelf run, and you're right, they really don't get enough credit. But they always produce teams that just grind out the wins.

Turner
Sabonis
Warren
Levert
Brogdon

That's some serious fire power when healthy.

Imagine having NAW and SGA instead of Bamba and Okeke.

Imagine having a competent FO.

How many more years of this WeHam garbage do we need to take?

The Okeke pick was truly one of the most head-scratching picks by this franchise I had ever seen, && it only continues to look worse with each passing day. If NAW keeps developing into what we thought he would be before he got submerged behind 2500 veteran guards last year, WeHam should be out on the streets by the end of this season.

I’m not making excuses for WeHam, I’m just trying to make sense of the Bamba and Okeke picks.

I truly believe that twice they tried to get cute and draft ahead of future moves to be made only to have unexpected events bite them in the ass.

1) They did not know what to expect with the Vuc free agency so they drafted a top C prospect.

2) They 100% believed AG was a top tier trade asset. They ended up being wrong, were unhappy with the offers and to make things worse they rushed Isaac back early losing him for another year.

Now they are stuck with Bamba and Okeke on the bench with Vuc and AG solidified as key starters.

Lesson of the day. Don’t get cute with the draft. Go for talent.

Im not mad at the Bamba pick. (Assuming they offered the farm to Memphis to break up the ATL Dal trade). I dont remember many mocks having Bamba any lower then 6. You take the high upside player and at the time of the draft Bamba was looked at as having one of the highest upside. Hes just a bust. It happens. The Okeke pick made no sense.

It did make sense according to people that said to look at his advanced stats.....what i heard is that okeke's advanced stats were really strong....Me personally when we picked him i was like "who?"
