Doesn't make since to play Lauri with Vuc and not Young. Vuc and Lauri kept running to the same spot.

Vuc and Sato seem to have clicked pretty well.

Vuc locked in on defense for them, too.

Vuc/Lavine && really this team, in general, will find their footing offensively. Lavine/Vuc are very good offensive players && I like White/Lauri on that end as well.

That's not going to be this team's issue though. The defensive side of the ball is what has made me pump the breaks on this whole "Chicago just set the league on fire with this trade" talk that has been making its rounds since the deadline. They were ranked 15th in defense before sending out two of their better defenders in this trade for Vucevic.

Am I now supposed to believe they are going to be better after it? I think they will be worse.

Which suggests to me that this is still a sub .500 basketball team. I'm prepared to be wrong on that, but I'm still pretty confident in my stance, which is why I liked and continue to like this trade for us.

Vassell looks so good. I’m going to continue to fantasize about how to land him or Haliburton in a trade.

Hopefully RJ can become a version of that guy for us. Very excited to see what he can bring.

The Bulls have an absolute murderers row their next five games. There’s a good chance they end up 10 games under .500

I think Curry is out for Golden State, so they could win that one.

A Lauri, Vuc front line is not going to to work. Lauri in my opinion is quite overrated and would be better served with a defensive player next to Vuc. While I love Vuc, I hope the bulls suck just enough just to fall to the fifth spot, lol.

It's only game 1 but that pick might be a lotto pick after all if they're going to start Lauri with Vuc

Yeah they're getting abused at the rim.

It's interesting to see Vuc play with guys that aren't looking to get it to him every time down the floor.

They'll obviously need time to adjust but it is odd to see him out there without the offense being completely built for him. Bulls fans already talking about Theis for defense but Theis and Vuc can't play together... So what is Vuc going to do from the bench if you need to bring in Theis for defense?

Vuc will be fine because he's a good player but he's not in Kansas anymore.

One of the other glaring issues on this Chicago roster is the lack of a true playmaking PG. Lavine has to create too much offense for the other players on this team. I don't think that is an ideal role for him and when he's not on the floor they basically have no one. White is only looking for his own shot.

Lonzo would have been a huge addition for them. I'm not sure about their cap situation but I'd be going hard after him this summer.

Considering they only have 39 points at the half maybe they should be getting it to him lol.

Offense won’t be a problem I imagine. Defense though...do they even have a single good defender on the team? They don’t even have AG level defender and I would say he is only slightly above average in general

Not celebrating too much off this game. Doubt LaVine is going to be this bad all season. Going to take Vuc a while to get use to the defense. Defense definitely won’t be their strong suit but it can improve. They should think about literally putting in anyone else opposed to Lauri in that starting line up.

Mid season trades often don’t lead to instant success

For sure. We all know the dude can score. The bulls team has a ton of deficiencies though. I can't imagine that they miss the playoffs but if they do and that pick conveys for us, it was one hell of a deal for WeHam.

Chicago fans are way more brutal than Magic fans. Hopefully Vuc can deal with it. Fournier will likely get roasted in Boston too.

It's not about celebrating. They aren't going to get blown out every night. But I do hope it at least quiets down some of the hyperbolic overreactive Chicago talk that has been going on since the deadline.

I said it after it happened, but this team has many of the same issues that we had. I would be willing to bet that they're going to finish a bottom 10 team defensively.

Too many negative players on that end.

Hahahahahahahahahaha

Love you Vooch, wish you were still here, but since we own your team's pick....hope the team sucks.

Brutal half. They look like a new team and they'll be fine once the Bulls' players realize the new pecking order. Plays should run through Zach and Vooch only.
