The T-Wolves have a great young core and could add to it with another top pick in a strong class.

Now they are getting a new ownership group lead by Alex Rodriguez.

Why can’t Orlando be so lucky?

Orlando's management has always spent well on FA assets.

Yeah that sucked. I was rooting for DEN to ein it all esp since AG is there.

That injury.. did it look like Fultz or JI to you? non contact.. run and stop then give out?

He gonna miss a chunk of their next season if that is an ACL tear..

Looked very similar to Kelle in that it happened on the way up, no contact at all, way less side to side action (not euro stepping or anything) but didn't quite look right, almost like a straighter plant. But as soon as he planted that left leg and went up he dropped the ball

Actually just seen a head on angle and his knee definitely buckled inwards on the plant, that's a major

Yikes.. thats like one year off. Well it wont hurt them too much. They will still have enough time for.him to shake off the rust for next years PO

Yes, we always spent money, especially when Rich was alive, but unfortunately our GMs didn't know how to spend it. We outbid ourselves for Rashard, remember?

Where did I talk about spending on free agents?

We need a new management group from top to bottom and that includes the embarrassing Devos family.

On paper, MIN might seem like a "great young core", but they're not young enough for them all to get a pass and they are awful. Maybe it's just the mix or maybe they actually stink.

How do you know they are awful?

How many games how you seen Russell + Towns + Edwards play / start together without a minutes restriction?

In the small sample size you do have they have had far greater success than the team has had otherwise.

Now, potentially toss in a top 3 pick from this draft to that core.

It seems like a change in top down leadership, getting those guys on the court together consistently and adding the right pieces around then (maybe even another star) is a path for success and exactly the one they are on.

These injuries are ridiculous. I wonder if the speed of the game, along with the moves that are being used more frequently (stuff like the euro step and hard crossover to step back) are leading to these injuries.

I think the schedule is the cause for more injuries.

That's definitely part of it but I feel like this is spanning a few years now with major players going down.

Betsy is an embarrassment but don't you remember the paddle incident?

The nepotism has allowed for the likes of Weisbrod (not an NBA guy), Vander Weide (mr drunk dial Dwight) and Martins to run this franchise like a horrible family business.

What does Betsy have to do with running the team?

You just asked why the family is embarrassing. She has nothing to do with the team but is a family embarrassment.

Unless this is the start of a downward spiral that has them a lot less competitive in general by that time

Wouldn't wish that on another team, especially another mid-market one, of course.
