That far huh... no bearing on this tragedy then.

Unless this is the start of a downward spiral that has them a lot less competitive in general by that time

Wouldn't wish that on another team, especially another mid-market one, of course.

lol with Jokic stillnthere? i doubt it

The nepotism has allowed for the likes of Weisbrod (not an NBA guy), Vander Weide (mr drunk dial Dwight) and Martins to run this franchise like a horrible family business.

What does Betsy have to do with running the team?

You just asked why the family is embarrassing. She has nothing to do with the team but is a family embarrassment.
Well that’s not a reason to think the ENTIRE family is embarrassing. If they’re capable owners and want to own the team then they should.

I don't want to be "that" guy but is our DEN pick next year?

Donovan Mitchell is the next guy to suffer what appears to be a significant lower ankle injury. These injuries have been absolutely crushing this year.

X-rays on his right ankle came clean. He will have a MRI tomorrow. Looks like Donovan may have avoided a major injury.

BTW.. it's seemed that Zach has been tested positive for Covid? Shouldn't that worry our team? I mean sure with the way they play defense there couldn't have been physical contact (lol joke).

Seriously though, heavy breathing around our guys... have any of our team got vaccinated already?

Man, someone I slept on in a big way was De’Aaron Fox, and he is absolutely exploding right now. Averaging 30ppg on 21fgas shooting 50%fg and 59%TS, with 6apg and 2spg post ASW. Kings are 9-12 over that stretch (weak schedule sample I know).

He has grown so much more as an offensive engine that I ever thought he’d be capable of. I love it.

What's hilarious is that 9-12 stretch included a 9 game losing skid that was snapped tonight.

Wow, I hadn’t been paying that much attention. Doesn’t that mean they’d had a 12 game winning streak before the 9 game losing streak?

No, you confused the wins/loses, it's 9 wins in 12 games in fact (or 8 out of 11, not sure if the latest win counts in this 9-12 record)

Nah.

The Kings were 14-22 at the All-Star Break.

They're 23-34 now, so they have 9 wins and 12 losses since the All-Star Break.

That includes a stretch where they won 7 out of 8 and a stretch where they lost 9 in a row.

Fournier will miss his first possible game against Vucevic after the trade tomorrow. A shame, I was curious how this would go...
