Yea for sure but Harden was more ''playoff Harden'' than regular season Harden

But no surprise when 3 teams (Lakers, Nets, Clippers) have 7 of the top 10-12 players in the leaque. Its a shame how uncompetitive players are over the last decade. :nonono:

Well, at some point Rockets, Bulls and Jazz had MJ, Pippen, Hakeem, Drexler, Barkley, Malone and Stockton, so I'd say it's pretty likely they were 7 of the Top 10-12.

Barkley & Drexler on there last legs i woudnt count as top 10-12 necesarry. Difference is, Pippen & MJ were drafted to the same team. Stockalone same. The Rockets were early / mid 30 legends trying to win a ring to finish there careers. Not guys in there 20's forming superteams to win a easy chip.

I'll just wait and see how first rounds are playing out, but for decades nba has been star-centric league. Nowdays with stars teaming together it's just more disgusting i guess.

But let's not fool ourselfs, Lakers 20 years ago had : prime Kobe, prime Shaq and on top of it, they added Horry, Grant & Fox.
In year Detroit won they had Kobe, Shaq , Malone & Payton and Malone was 40 and way over a hill but still... Payton was 35 tho and year before averaged 20 points on 8 assists, so it's not like he was done.

2013-14 Heat: Lebron, Bosh, Wade, Ray Allen, Mike MIller , Rashard Lewis. Literally 5 allstars.

1997 Bulls had, in hindsight , 5 hall of famers on same team.

I'm pretty sure that late 80s Lakers best 5 players were all former top 4 picks ( Worhy, Thompson, Scott, Magic, Jabbar ) and othrer than i think Thompson, all were hall of famers.

NBA was never really that competitive, it's easly most easy to predict who wins championship sports league in the world. I'm watching soccer and even there there are lot of suprises, despite huge disparity in budget among teams :dontknow:

There have been 3 suprise champions in nba in last 30 years. Dallas, Detroit & Raptors, and literally all those teams were also stacked with hall of famers and not really that suprising. Dallas was "big upset" but if you look back, they had hall of famer Dirk, former DPOY Chandler, one of best PGs in history in Kidd and one of best 6th man in last 20 years Terry, 3 times allstar Stojakovic and 4 times allstar Marion. Is it really that suprising they won?

I think over the years it’s gotten more egregious in terms of timeframe. You went from Boston or Miami’s big three teams coming together in 1-2 seasons to win championships.

Now, Brooklyn’s starting lineup has played how many games this season together? Kind of comical adding Blake Griffin mid season as well. I think it’s nothing but bad news for the league if Brooklyn wins it this season in a league with no parity.

Then again, maybe I’m just the old man yelling at a cloud meme at this point. The league has been a joke for a while now leading up to this point because of people with Instagram and TikTok attention spans.

Vince Carter said that for AG is refreshing "seeing single coverage and not being a main guy anymore" in Denver, LOL. As if any team was ever dumb enough to double him when he played for us.

AG was never the “main guy” on a team of scrubs.

Anybody remember when some posters couldn't wait to get rid of Tobias Harris and how Orlando traded him away for literally nothing? Good times. It would've been nice to have a guy who's a legit 2nd option on a title contender. I hate having the right read on a player and the guys who got payed to run my team can't figure that out for themselves.

I know all to well it doesn’t take much to fall awkwardly and tweak something worse than it looks.

Still, that fuss up by Lebron was soft as hell.

I’m not a Lebron hater at all. He gets a lot of crap for being on top. With that said … that was soft man.

T12 is the guy I really liked from that youth movement. Really sucks we let him go for nothing.

I'd like to have these last legs in our team as they were averaging 18/6/6 and 19/13/5.
