I mean *of course* the Magic would make those trades right now, but that isn't what was being argued either.

If Fultz was the same 41% fearless three point shooter like he was in college, the case could easily be made that he'd be the best of the three players.

I am not sold yet. Those guys have proven to completely take over games already. Not saying Fultz doesn't have that capability but not on their level yet.

He looked great and I hope he plays well after sliding so far but he's getting Summer League hysteria (GB thread called him a 7'2 Durant lol). At the end of the day it was a scrimmage against a depleted Wizards team but he's a super interesting player.

His talent rather obviously exceeded his draft slot. It’s curious that Denver manages to find talent in the draft and room on their roster to develop it (without a G-league team) while we fill out our roster with veteran journeymen that get dumped by other organizations.

I don’t know how anyone can spend a year analyzing this roster and then formulate a risk-averse strategy. When you have nothing, you have nothing to lose.

It doesn't matter that it was a scrimmage, a 7'2 guy handling the ball like that and making pin point half court passes, that's special.

For sure, but people need to temper their expectations from one game. NAW had a 1029302 page thread here after his preseason and he didn't do **** during the regular season.

At the very least, Denver fans can be very excited about the prospects of him being involved in their future, just hate when young guys get too much hype on them from 1 or 2 performances because it sets them up for failure when people go overboard with it. He's in a good place in Denver where he'll have time to fit in and make mistakes.

If denver play it right, they not only should win a ring soon, but they have the makings of a dynasty if their players live up to their potential

Jokic is an MVP caliber player, Murray is one of the best young guards in the league, Porter Jr has the potential to be a durant STYLE unicorn and Bol Bol is just a freak who could become an all-star (or higher) sooner rather than later
I mean imagine that lineup next year.
C - Jokic
PF - Bol
SF - Porter
SG - Harris
PG - Murray

How do you defend that team? 3 unicorns, a high scoring 6'5 PG and Harris who has plenty of positives
And then they still have Millsap, Grant, Barton, and Monte Morris off the bench

Not even going to hide it, if we dont win it ( ), denver is who im going to be cheering for in the playoffs

Man, i remember the day before the 2018 draft, reports came out that we were planning on taking Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 6 and most of this board (myself included), flipped out and started screaming that we were wasting our pick etc....

Man, why didnt that prediction come true... :(

I like the shot clock projected on the top of the free throw line. You can tap your phone in the NBA app to cheer, crazy.

Breaking news: the NBA stocked the CAMPUS lakes to make sure the NBA players could easily catch fish.

The league really did think of everything !

With the Lakers beating the Clippers, their number is now 1.5. That is: any complication of two Lakers wins or two Clippers losses means LAL has won the West. One can easily understand how critical this game was for LA. And also for LA.

EDIT: if the Lakers lose out and the Nuggets win out, it is still mathematically possible for Denver to overtake LAL.

Wizards and Nets lost and we won. Great day so far. Blazers take out the Griz who are just above them. Would love to see Blazers/Lakers in the 1st round.

Noticed scores have been high, even by this era's standard

Wonder if the no fans means less pressure and makes it easier to score

The box-lines from yesterday:

128-118
140-135
125-112
119-112
129-120
153-149 (OT)

When did the NBA give up playing defense? Is this ABA style the new normal?

Faster pace
Focus on pick and roll
Lay ups
3s

But I also think the empty arenas makes it easier. Less pressure like a pick up game

They’re not but Bamba isn’t even showing flashes. If your HC doesn’t trust you even up 30 your career probably isn’t heading in the right direction. Seems like every night there’s another 1st year or 2nd year playing going off and then there’s Bamba lol
