Orlando Magic Preseason TV Schedule

Post#1 » by Howard Mass » Mon Sep 30, 2019 5:10 am

Everyone,

I was looking through the Spectrum guide and it shows.......

The 10/7 (Monday) at Detroit and the 10/9 (Wednesday) game at Atlanta will be on FS Florida.

There was nothing in the Guide for the game this Saturday 10/5 at San Antonio and the 10/11 home game (a week from Friday).

Apparently, the 10/17 home game against Miami will be on TV but no word on the 10/13 home game against Philadelphia.

3 of the 6 Preseason Games on local Tv would be an upgrade from last year though and we can probably get the rest on Fox Sports Go.

More info probably gets released today.

Good to know we should be able to get at least 3 games to get hyped before the season starts, even if they can be a little boring at times and a lot of playing time for the scrubs.

Overall, still very excited to see the way AG, Isaac, and especially Fultz looks. It seems like Fultz should be ready on Day One.

They have been typically as long as there is a Jumbotron feed or the opposing team is broadcasting the game. The only times they aren't shown I've noticed is if the game is at a neutral site.

If I remember right, the Fox GO app broadcast-ed the jumbo tron feed of the games not on TV.

Here is the breakdown

On FS Florida

Monday October 7 at Detroit 7:00 PM
Wednesday October 9 at Atlanta 7:30 PM
Thursday October 17 vs Miami 7 PM

Not on FS Florida

Saturday October 5 at San Antonio
Friday October 11 vs Boston
Sunday October 13 vs Philadelphia

It's an upgrade over the 2 games we had last year but it still is a bummer that only half will be on FS Florida.

I'm sure there will be at least a Jumbotron feed for the two home games but we all really want to see that game Saturday in San Antonio.

Someone said it is listed as being on League Pass. And even when we had stars like Dwight they never aired all of the preseason games my guess is they don't want to go to the expense of broadcasting them all.

Cost is the issue.

Even on the games that air during the preseason, there are no pre or post game shows.

I'm sure there will at least be a jumbotron feed of The Spurs game.

Yep, I'm buying the ILP already but tempering the expectations for tomorrow's game. Jumbotron feeds are not the best you can get (very low angles as it's being shot on the court), but I guess it's better than nothing.

I wouldn't mind jumbotron feeds as much but when our guys are on the road it sucks because every time the home team scores they have to show a 10 seconds replay and you're missing what your team is doing. But gotta do what we gotta do to get our fix.

We are all going to go nuts for a feed tonight.

The two non-televised home games should definitely have a feed though.

ahah, yeah, I'm counting down the hours until the game.
I already bought ILP and yesterday saw the Nets vs Franca game as it served as my bball fix, but I need my Magic one!

Most excited for this team since last decade.
