The roster is set. Lets hear the AG 19/20 Stat Line Predictions.

Also, will AG be selected to his first all "star" appearance this year?

I voted "no." Not because I don't believe in AG, but because I think he'll settle into numbers like last season. 17 ppg, 8 rpg, 4 apg, hopefully 1 & 1 blk/stl. I imagine JI's scoring will go up, Vuc's might drop just a smidgen. Based on the numbers, I don't think he'll get it.

That being said, if we wound up being a top 3 team in the East going into the break, he would have a solid chance

I've been saying all offseason to my family and friends that I truly believe he'll make it this year. I could see 20-22ppg, 7-8rpg, 3-4apg and his first all-star selection. I really hope it happens. It moves the needle on this team so much more than we've been expecting lately.

I hope so. He looks a lot better attacking, if he can use that to get to 5+ fta it’ll help his offense a lot.

He can still get a little loose with his handles but that could be early season jitters, but yes he does look better. Hes my pick to have an all-star season for us.

If it's purely on stats, maybe not, just because we had a number of options on this team, but I think his play will be all-star level, which might get him in if we're a really good team this year.

The key is all in the defense and playmaking and success of the team. Draymond Green's stat lines during his 3 all-star campaigns were roughly 12/8/7 on 45/33/71 splits.

Gordon being an all-NBA defender while averaging around 18/7/4 on a playoff team is an all-star in the East this year.

I voted yes, though I think that's optimism speaking. Leonard is gone, but Butler will probably snag his spot. Maybe Middleton misses out this year, but Gordon would be one of several guys competing for that spot. Antetokounmpo and Griffin will make the team. Gordon would be in with the next group of guys including Collins, Markkanen, Harris, Siakam, and Tatum. Sabonis might slot into that group as well. Perhaps there is room for another forward this year as the guard crop doesn't look impressive.

If we are a PO team by All star break, we gonna have 1 All Star. Vuc or Gordon. I think ATL & Chicago won't make the PO, so i don't think they gonna have one. Siakam for sure. I've seen the Toronto game today and his usage gonna be Top 5-10 this season
Tatum i think will make it and Harris could be the typical 3rd All star of the best team (Philly is my fav. in the east).

So from last year allstars were:
Kemba
Irving
Kawhi
Giannis
Embiid

Lowry
Oladipo ( out)
Middleton
Beal
Simmons
Blake Griffin
Vuc
D'angelo ( replacment)

Aside from Leonard, nobody went West. ( D'angelo did , but he was replacment)
Potential players to go in depending on team results, health and production are ( IMO)
Jimmy Butler
Aaron Gordon
Zach Lavine/ Markkanen
Tatum
Trae Young /Collins
Kevin Love
Drummond
Turner
Randle ( market value...)
Siakam

If Magic are 4th seed, we'll have to have an All-Star (or 2), Gordon is, IMO, most likely...I could see 19/8/4 doing it with good efficiency, defense, weekly highlight dunks, and 37% from 3

Why are we getting riled up over preseason play where teams aren't giving 100 percent and are essentially practicing schemes/lineups? He's always played well in preseason/first month of the season then his numbers have dipped.

I'm not saying don't be optimistic but this is just premature.

Depends on how good the team is. If we're a top 5 team in the east, I could see him get in with a small jump in production.

I voted no only because I could see Gordon's raw stats (PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, BPG) not being significantly higher than they were a year ago because of how deep the team is.

That said... all-star nod or not, I don't think anyone on this board will be upset if AG gives 17-7-4-1-1 on a .460/.350/.750 slash with high end defense.

Middleton went 18/6/4 on 55.8% TS and made the team. It was the best team in the NBA, but Gordon can at least replicate the performance. If the team is winning, he should be recognized.
