This is a winnable game. If you could find a way to win this game you have two days off before facing off against Philly at home on Tuesday night. It won't be easy though. Brogdon is having a fantastic season and will present problems for us. They are a small team though, so in theory, we should see some Isaac at C tonight.

Plus Philly having the 2nd day of a back to back. Its our chance for a winning streak, before the road trip.
Could be a low scoring game because both teams are in the bottom 5 in pace (like all McMillan teams in history  ). I think we match up pretty well with them. They are a bad rebounding team, take the fewest 3pointers & hit them at a bad % & doesnt get to the line.
They take the most 2P shots & many in the post. If we controll the paint, this should be a win.

Don't know if Myles Turner will be playing but the Pacers have had a pretty easy schedule to start the season

Hey guys, what happened to Aaron Gordon? I'm not following the Magic at all, so when I opened Gordon's stats today I was quite shocked. 13.7 points per game for a franchise player is not a good start to the season. His 3PT percentage also seems to be lower. Have your offensive schemes changed, or did he regress?

Granted it just has been two games, but I have liked the offensive production we have been putting together as of late. We are starting to show some more consistency moving the basketball on offense and not wasting possessions through over dribbling. I do feel and expect that to continue tonight. We have to own the paint on both ends and limit our turnovers. Want to see us really control the boards. If we do those things, I do feel we have a chance to get this win.

He was rough to start the year, but the last few games has been much better. 3 point shooting still isn't back to normal, but been really efficient inside the arc.

We don't have one yet. Gordon isn't one.

Troll...

He's been playing well as he's been playing to his strengths the last few games. Again he was never really a good shooter so he's not going to light it up from the arch but he's been taking better shots as he's gotten into the paint more.

Win this and the Magic starts with a 4-6 record. Basically about what we would expect.

So: WIN THIS GAME !!!!

Kid is only 24, and has room to grow. Big men usually reach their prime at 27-28. And it looked like he had already figured out the 3pt shot last season.

If you've simply looked at his statistics after the first month of last season he's been the same player from that point for the last 4-5 years.

You watch from the eye test even currently he's been the same player for just as long. He still can't effectively create any shot, he can't dribble too effectively to get past a defender which means he can't penetrate the lanes too well. His shooting is still not respectable. His overall skills have not improved either outside of his passing. The only difference with him especially within the last two years has been him working off the ball more and getting into the lane where he is most effective and working within the offense. Doesn't have a high BBIQ either which hinders his development even more. Either if he learns something and forgets it or he just doesn't have that capacity to understand the game at a higher level. I'm not sure what it is but with his lack of natural talent/skill/BBIQ he'll remain a role player.

This is not also adding on here that he plays for arguably/statistically the worst offensive team in the league. Again, I like AG but this man is just a really solid player. But it gets me to give these sorts of responses towards outsiders or his crazed Homers who hold onto this idea after 6 years of looking and playing a particular way for that long.
