Last year we pulled up something that hasn't been done in 25 years in terms of health of starting 5.

Unless we come up with a new type of offense that doesn't hinge on a C, and someone steps up at a crazy jump, this is looking like a big slide and a lot of early losses. Might put us in too big a hole to chase the playoffs, but Cliff will still push the team to try regardless.

It's really going to be on Fournier, Ross, Fultz and Isaac to step up before Gordon gets back. When Gordon does get back, I'm expect him to try to take on more I'd that scoring role but don't expect any success from it.

Who knows, this might be something that pushes WeHam into making a move for more stabilising offense until Vuc can return. DeRozan feels like the obvious candidate. But that's just conjecture on my part.

Depending on how much time AG misses, we could easily go 4-12 during that stretch of games if like a lot of us fear we simply replace AG's minutes with Aminu/Iwundu and keep Bamba in the rotation. Cliff's going to have to earn his money.

Birch and a minutes restrictionless Bamba will be just fine.

I'm glad he got hurt, Management has to suck it and regret resigning him. Now we have a player making around $20 million this season on our team that's going to miss a good portion of the regular season. I hope Bamba averages 30+ minutes a game now and VUC don't get his minutes back when he gets healthy. Now the one team I have VUC on my fantasy basketball, I can drop him.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the signing but did I really just read that managment should regret signing Vuc bc they didn't predict this injury?

What???? Injuries are part of the game. Last week he was player of the week, don't act like he has been terrible all year.

And Bamba can't run around a few times without getting winded and you want to force feed him 30+minutes??? That's without mentioning he has been terrible.

MINIMUM of 4 weeks. As bad as it looked, I think he has a high grade ankle sprain, which realistically can take up to 6-8 weeks. They'll reevaluate in 4 weeks and hope for the best.

Either way, 1 month of the fulcrum of our already severely limited offense is a huge loss. It could put us in a big hole. This should be a good time to experiment with allowing Fultz and Isaac to take more control, but I really don't expect much in terms of wins until Vucevic comes back.

This could get ugly real quick. And to no one's fault really. I know a lot of us want Clifford to try different things, but I don't think it'll make a big difference.
