Pelicans have him on the block. Signed through next year. Magic desperately need outside shooting.

I'd love Jrue, just have no idea what he'd cost. Gordon doesn't seem like a great fit for them with Zion/Hayes as their 4/5 of the future. But a player like Jrue would help us a lot.
Also makes you wonder do they send Fultz to the bench? Or slide Evan down a spot? Guess depends on who'd be in the deal.

We need a proper 3&D
Someone capable of making 3 3pt per game and defend
Hopefully chuma can become this guy, this is why i d like roco here, he d be an awesome mentor for chuma
Fultz, teague, mcw
Evan, ross
Roco, iwundu
Isaac, roco, aminu
Vuc, mo, birch
Next season
Fultz. Mcw. Pg fa
Evan, ross. Iwundu
Roco, chuma (mentored by roco) . Iwundu
Isaac, aminu
Vuc, mo, birch

I vehemently disagree. All we have are guys that are capable of spotting up for 3 and playing good defense. We need someone who can score from the wing, and gets to the line a good amount.

I like robert covington as well. The guy knows his roll and does it well. That is what i wish gordon would start to figure out. Know what you're good at .... excel in it.... and lay it out on the court. If he would do that... he would be an amazing fit on ANY team.... especially ours. I could care less about him being a 20+ point scorer.... just go out there and be happy to be that opportunistic swiss army knife and his career would be great and our team could possibly hit a groove. Definitely not trying to blame him for any or everything.... but gosh i scratch my head on some of decision making during games. Hope he gets the hang of it and goes down the Non Dwight path. lol
love jrue holiday ... back on topic. haha

What? We have enough "3-D" players. We need a SCORER not a 3D player. A 3D player?

I guess id be ok with Jrue i guess depending on the cost but it feels like a stop gap/band-aid fix. Another guy that can opt out in two years just to take less money to title chase back home in California. I mean Evan is playing better than him so, what? We bench Markelle?

Jrue isnt a good outside shooter. he is a very good 2way player, but he isnt a shooter.

Evan is a better shooter than Jrue, but Jrue a better passer, scorer imo and vastly better defender.

Not unless he plays whatever position AG does.

Would love Jrue next to Fultz with Evan as SF, Isaac at PF...but, as said before AG doesn't fit in NOLA, nor Bamba...maybe Ross +...NOLA is kind of like us, pretty good everywhere but no greatness YET...getting close with Ingram & Zion and I still think Ball can ball on a team of scorers. Maybe AG in a 3-way is likeliest

Holiday is still a good player, but it's hard to find a reasonable financial fit with how much money he makes.

Just that I'm not excited by a trade for Jrue Holiday. Yes it will make us a bit better in the short term, but not significantly. I don't see any avenues for us to swing for a real difference maker but I still can't get excited for Jrue Holiday.

Is Jrue Holiday really that much a better scorer? Since 15-16...
Holiday: 18.4 PPG on .540 TS%
Fournier: 17.1 PPG on .574 TS%
• PnR Ball Handler:
2019-20Holiday: 7.4 Poss / 0.76 PPP / .424 eFG%
Fournier: 6.4 Poss / 1.00 PPP / .514 eFG%
15-16 to 18-19Holiday: 6.7 Poss / 0.86 PPP / .481 eFG%
Fournier: 3.8 Poss / 0.85 PPP / .457 eFG%
• Driving:
2019-20Holiday: 17.4 Drives / .493 PPP / 9.5 AST%
Fournier: 9.1 Drives / .583 PPP / 7.3 AST%
15-16 to 18-19Holiday: 13.9 Drives / .555 PPP / 11.4 AST%
Fournier: 8.5 Drives / .553 PPP / 9.9 AST%
*PPP = Points Per Possession• Fournier is heading into his peak prime, nearly 2.5 years younger (Holiday 29-181d / Fournier 27-050d)
• Fournier is also much cheaper:
Holiday: (29) $26.2m / (30) $26.2m / (31) $27.1m
player optionFournier: (27) $17.0m / (28) $17.0m
player option

Oh ok, me neither...not a great shooter and pretty inefficient and while he can play off-ball some, he's definitely better on-ball so that doesn't mesh well with Fultz.
