Is this a sign MCW and/or DJ is expected back?

Good move. Magette wouldn't have done anything for us outside of Lakeland, Clark at least has a shot.

Hey a signing that fans actually were calling for. Hopefully he can give us some good minutes.

Magette looked like a fan who won a contest to participate in warmups and sit at the end of the bench...

Good low risk signing. Now that Vic Law is on a two-way is Magette out in the FA wilderness or can he go back to dominating the G League?

Finally! A move that makes sense for once! It's nothing major or special, but you never know what kind of production you can get from a younger unproven guy.

Wish him well. If he can shoot, he's a rotation player, if he can't he's not an nba player. He's too bad at everything else offensively to justify playing him, because, while he's a good defender, it's not enough to overcome being an offensive liability. Worthwhile shot to take

I think the 80K Josh gets for the 10 day contract is more than his G league salary. Kind of a nice way for the Magic to tell him he lost his spot.

Sounds an awful like players we already have on this roster, so yea makes perfect sense.

Thanks for your input.

It sucks to hear he doesn't provide much on offense. Hoping that it was a case of being in an offense that was so Iso/Harden heavy and he gets a chance to do a little more.

Also forgot to say in my other post that if he impresses, he can hopefully win the starting PF spot until Isaac gets back. Don't need much from our PF but defense, rebounding, and spacing. Hopefully he can provide those things.

He was actually worse on offense with the G League Vipers because he's so dependent on someone creating shots for him, he has 0 handling or passing skills

Very solid move to add some depth at forward. Letting go of Josh must mean that MCW is close to returning.

I like the pick up. Now the question is will he actually play. The magic have a history of calling up and signing guys to 10 day contracts and then never playing them or only playing them in garbage time and then letting them go(mcw is the only one of I can recently think of that actually got playing time). I dont see why he shouldn't play I seem him as a better shooting iwundu. That easily could help us on the floor.

Well we dont need him to set the world on fire just hit a three and defend. Really the defensive aspect is what intrigues me the most since Birch doesnt work having to chase stretch 4's around the perimeter.

Carter-WIllaims coming back makes it hard for Magette.

Il one the addition of Clark!
