Big fat L incoming. Can't even beat the Suns or Warriors, definitely not beating these guys.
Obviously hoping I'm wrong, but if we play with the same low energy and bad defense like we did against the Thunder, then we have no chance.
Also, Fournier cannot continue being a bum and turning the ball over 30 times like last game.

A little update on Boston's roster for tonight: With Tatum out, Smart will almost surely start.* If Brown is also out it would probably be Ojeleye or Grant Williams starting as well, more likely Ojeleye as Williams will need to fill in some center minutes.*
Tacko Fall is active for this one. Either he or Vincent Poirier will likely see real minutes as the Celtics are down two centers with Robert Williams and Kanter out.
* You never know though. Brad Stevens comes up with unexpected lineups when there are a few guys injured.

What's wrong with Tatum and Brown?

Tatum has a slight groin strain that occurred in the last game. It's not too serious, but he's out for a little while at least.
Brown had a recent thumb injury, but what might keep him out tonight is an ankle sprain that he got two games ago. He did not play in the last game against Memphis because of it. Kanter was hurt in that contest when he dove on the floor and got a hip contusion.

That sucks to hear. Both teams dealing with injuries now then. Luckily, the C's should be healthy soon.

Doesn't matter who is injured for the C's. Guaranteed someone from their team is going to have a season high and/or career high night. Our defense just isn't there

Brown has now been ruled out tonight, so Boston's rotation will be creative.
If Edwards is a wing, and maybe he is, he's the world's smallest one.

Our defense is there on most nights. But for some reason, we have this tendency to think we're better than we are and coast until the 4th. It's maddening. If we play this Celtics team the way we did the Lakers, we have a good chance. If not, this Celtics team, bruised and battered as they are, will trounce us by 30. . . Even if they aren't playing at their best.
Our guys need to realize that we're not that good yet. Need to play harder and better than every team we face if we wanna make noise.

I still support the team but I have very little motivation to watch games which is a shame. Hopefully we'll win with Tatum and Brown out but this the Magic so I'm not over optimistic

With Brown and Tatum out, we should have a good chance to win and increase the chances that the status quo will continue!

We usually get up for the Celtics. We have a solid record against them at home over the years.
The doom and gloom brigade around here is strong... They are very shorthanded, we have some bumps but really have played at around the same level no matter who is in the lineup.
Magic to show improved perimeter D, Gordon to dunk on Tacko, Magic take it by 8.

Grant Williams is starting for Boston. The only two active players that have played significant center for them are both starting. Somebody- either Tacko Fall or Vincent Poirier is going to get minutes. (maybe both)

Good thing Kanter is out. He’d decimate us especially the second unit.

Fournicator is looking to impregnate some Celtics tonight.
