Right on BKN's heels for that 7th seed.

Why? He's a legit contender for the vest. Easily a co-vest scenario.

He's a legit contender but everybody with eyes can see this is AG's vest. He was ridiculous in that second half all over the court.

I was thinking the same thing. At this point in the season, I was hoping he'd be comfortable taking that extremely wide open 3 from the top of the key. But he's just not yet.

It changes from game to game. Tonight he wanted no part of anything that wasn't a layup.

I'm actually torn as to whether or not we should want it. Toronto isn't a good matchup for us either. Boston might overtake them, though, and we've shown we can hang with them at least.

Who do you guys prefer to play? Toronto or Boston? I know it really doesn’t matter, but I think I prefer Boston with all things considered.

We're most likely gonna get spanked anyway. Especially if Isaac isn't ready by then. But we definitely have more of a chance against Toronto and Boston over the behemoth that is the Bucks. No disrespect to either of those teams.

Just to be clear, I don't *want* to trade Gordon. I like him.

I just don't see any other alternative that the Magic will actually do.

No one else on the roster has any trade value, the fit at the 3/4 with Isaac is iffy at best, and I think Isaac is the better player.

Yeah, see im still not convinced of that. Our most played lineup last year with Isaac/AG at the 3/4 had a 2.4 Net rating and our most-played lineup this year includes Isaac/AG at the 3/4 and has a 2.0 Net rating. They are an elite defensive pairing that can switch all positions and can especially become effective come playoff time when pace of play slows down and elite wings look to score in isolation half-court type settings.

I would agree that at this current stage that the fit with Fultz at the 1 is very iffy. He has to be at least willing to take the very wide open 3pt shots. I think the key is to have an elite 3pt shooter at the 1/2 and an at least above average 3pt shooter at the other backcourt spot.

I think JI has to come back to have a chance to make it a series against either one.

Me too. A lot less experienced and a couple more holes defensively for them. The Raptors are long, athletic, and agile. They can be everywhere at all times. Plus I don't think I could handle watching Lowry and his antics for 4+ games.

I'm happy about the Washington win too... because maybe it means they are about to go on a win streak :D

Loved AG's postgame interview. Seems to me like he is starting to embrace being that Swiss-Army knife type of player that can affect the game in a multitude of ways. He has been nothing short of awesome during the month of February. What I am loving most about him is his rebounding and overall understanding of the nuances needed both offensively and defensively. On offense, he is reading defenses much better and he is manufacturing points with his hustle plays on the offensive rebounds. On defense, his positioning and timing on blocks have drastically improved. This guy is far from a finished product. Him being screwed out of the dunk contest again has finally put that chip on the shoulder that AG needed to start taking the game seriously.

Both are pretty horrible matchups for us. Just from a coaching standpoint, we are severely outclassed and I think it would be a 4-0 sweep in both series especially if Isaac doesn't suit up.

If there was a gun to my head, I guess I would say Boston because maybe Vuc wouldn't be completely ghosted in the series but it's pretty brutal either way.

I know people like to write it off due to how long he has been in the league, but he is literally only 24 years old still. 2 years away from even hitting his true prime. I feel like that' something that just can't be overlooked. He has shown every year the willingness to add to his game in the gym and now he is developing into a smarter and better overall basketball player.

He's just not someone I'd be looking to trade anytime soon. Next year's trade deadline is when I'd consider it if he still hasn't shown signs of taking a jump but I'm still not convinced that he won't. Maybe that's the AG homer that has always been in me but he's never given me a reason to doubt him.

There's no way we can come back with a starting lineup of Fultz/Fournier/Gordon/Isaac/Vucevic next season. It would just be the same problems all over again. You know WeHam are going to choose Evan and Vuc over AG. I don't like it and it won't turn out well... but he's a goner.

Just think about in two years when Bamba and Isaac get a little closer to their prime defensively. :o

Yep, and I'll sleep like a baby if we do.... Like the kid but we have to cash in on someone and considering age and contract we can package him with the first rounder or something else to get something nice. If buddy heild is still disgruntled I would pursue that with AG in the package. Buddy heild would fit real nice here, instant starter and has a real opportunity to grow his game and grow with a team.
