The best thing about building a big lead early is maintaining it and The Magic pretty much did that today. Very satisfying win.

One moment the Houston announcers are calling Orlando a mediocre team, the next moment they are talking about random nonsense cause their team is getting smacked. Gotta love it.

Yeah, they kept taking shots at MCW the whole game too lol. Pretty mediocre crew imo.

This Houston team is bad. Really bad. They do know you have to play SOME defense, right? You also have to get SOME rebounds. Stupid decision to get rid of Capela.

Also, Harden is so overrated without an abundance of free throws it's unreal. Houston will not get further than the 2nd round. That's if they can even beat the Jazz in the first round.

Yeah, that team has gotten worse. An already bad defense, got worse with the Capela trade. And they really can't rebound.

That will be Pepe's excuse why we won without Fournier. The Lakers didn't have Davis, Twolves didn't have Towns, and Houston is just bad.

Sure, but I'm not really worried about that. It's just fact that Evan makes poor decisions and gets us into trouble a lot and that we're way better off with the ball in Fultz, AG, and Vuc's hands.

But, it can't be overstated just how bad this Houston team really is now. No Center who can protect the rim and rebound is just dumb. They clearly tried to be a trend setter the way the 09 Magic were or the Warriors were. Just didn't work.

We also have to continue starting Iwundu over Savior when Evan gets back. If not start, then get minutes as a small ball 4 from off the bench. He's valuable and does all the little things that don't show up on the box score. He also does it without jacking up shots at a high rate.

Normally Harden would drop 50 on us with a triple double. Steele and Turner would say, Evan did all he could but you can't top a great player.

Evan Fournier = Addition by subtraction

Buddy ball = Purgatory

Who would have thought..... the orlando magic have had the highest offensive rating in the league since after ASB. lol. "Tale of Two Teams". Now if we can just do both Offensive and defensive rating at the same damn time.... we would be going places. Loving the bench in the last few games. them boys be playing hard.

The big difference between Iwundu/Ennis and Fournier is that they come out knowing they're playing a role and so when they get the ball they move it quickly unless there is a wide open shot for them.

Fournier generally does that for the first half, and it's in the 2nd half and especially the 4th when he looks to stop moving the ball and trying to create more. If Cliff can get Fournier playing that role for the entire game, he should be fine. Plus, given how aggressive Fultz has been in the 4th, his top notch efficiency in those moments, and being our best player at getting to the rim, it definitely seems like playmaking should be limited to him, Vuc and AG.

In three games without Evan Fournier...

Markelle Fultz is averaging 21.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 6.7 APG and shooting 62.2% from the floor.

The Magic are 3-0.

The Magic had an early 32 point lead in the 4th, said another way, if the Magic had got scoreless over the last 10 minutes, this was still a win!

All road wins are good wins. As the Nets also won, this was a useful win as well!
