AG. Did everything... as he has been doing lately. Played smart and unselfish. I refuse to give it to whack ass DJ because he had a good shooting night.

The sample size is small and the Rockets have been just horrid the last week or so, but man this team has really picked up the slack for Evan being out.

I went with DJ. That scoring off the bench was big and crazy good. AG, Vuc, Fultz and Iwundu helped to build the initial lead, and DJ came out and helped extend it.

But I gotta give DJ credit when he's has such a rough season so far.

I voted mcw because he did it all. Honestly, the whole magic team needs the vest. They played very well.

AG certainly filled the stat sheet with random stuff. Blocks, steals, assists and a double double.

Orlando dominated the Rockets starters. SO for me it must be a starter, and Gordon was Mr. Everything. He got my vote.

This is game where only MCW, Ross and DJ should be options and Dj should win.


Vuc and Gordon filled stat sheets in 4th quater, while game was over.
Vuc had 16 rebounds, at least 5 were when it didn't matter. (including 4,5 points)
Gordon had 5 offensive rebounds from 2 possessions by tipping and missing layups in first quater (also scored few points in dead time)
In addition both Vuc and Gordon didn't shot ball well. Gordon also led team in turnovers ( 4). Their box score stuffing isn't reflection of what actually happend this game. Fultz actually played better than both.

DJ has been crappy whole year ,but this game he was brilliant.

Honorable mentions to MCW and Ross.

DJ seems like he finally got his timing back. Maybe since he's old it takes him longer. He had an injury at the beginning of the year and it took him a while then too.

I want to say (haven't checked every game) that this is the first vest vote of the year where five different players actually received a vote.

I know I was dozing off but I thought for some reason DJ did a lot of damage when we were already up 25+ (albeit that party started early).

Either way good to see him get back on track. Went from winning us a game against the champs to most people wanting MCW to replace him in the rotation.

Fair argument that I considered as well.

I ended up going with DJ because I kept feeling that with their firepower Houston would eventually come back on us and thanks in part to our bench, lead by DJ, we were able to keep the pressure on them and maintain a lead.

True. I’m sure most of us expected Houston to come back and the bench made sure it wasn’t gonna happen in the 3rd.

I voted for ag. I'm sorry but there are 2 sides of the ball to be played dj just doesnt give enough defensively to steal this one from ag. They had him guarding westbrook most of the game.
