AG for Schroder. Now I will be the first to admit i was not high on Schroder when he left Atlanta, but he has done a decent job repairing his on-court image with his play. But is this how far AG has fallen, that this is the proposed trade for AG?

No. I’m alright not getting the perceived value in return but we need to actually get better as a team and that means filling some needs. Grabbing someone like Kelly Oubre makes more sense. Rumors continue to swirl that such talks will re-emerge in the summer.

If not, there are a number of player in Brooklyn I would like as well and they also are rumored to have interest.

I just don’t like DS.

Couldn't give Schroeder away a while back...good for him and OKC, but you have to wonder if CP3 (maybe the purest Alpha Dog in the league) put Dennis squarely in his place in the team hierarchy in OKC. Spring him with newfound self-confidence and he could return to bad habits and attitude with a leaderless team like ORL. For years we've been hearing how ORL has underperformed due to unclear roles/hierarchy/player leadership/battle for position, etc (very clearly stated by Oladipo post-ORL)...would he be willing to play off-ball with still unproven Fultz or fight him for every touch? I'm concerned that Fultz might still be at the point he'd curl up in fetal position at that kind of challenge (despite Fultz's massive upside and recent progress). My biggest wish for offseason training is Fultz's Sports Psychologist getting him to believe no-one can stop him.

We acquired a very good player in Fultz for next to nothing because the 76ers are eager to win now and didn’t have the patience to let him work through his problems. I believe sending Gordon away because he and much of the team underperformed this season would be the same mistake.

I’m ok with moving Gordon if what we get back makes sense, like a scorer on the wing. With that said, Gordon’s got talent, and was playing well again when the cursed virus shut the world down. I’m partially in agreement that trading AG might burn us as well. That’s a sucky place to be if you’re Magic management and feel the same way. As for the article, it’s just a blogger looking to entertain himself. I doubt Schroeder is anywhere on the Magic’s radar. He’s not an upgrade from anyone in our starting lineup. I did like the articles conjecture on Fournier leaving town. I’m all for that.

Schröder would be a good replacement for Augustin as the lead back-up PG.

Trading Gordon for a back-up PG makes no sense at all.

I wouldn't target Schroeder at all, I wouldn't mind a sign and trade for a veteran shooter like Galo though. Not sure the rules behind sign and trades and attaching picks but if we can get a resigned Gallo and the #25 (lets say Tre Jones for this example) I would be **** ecstatic.

I would need to know WeHam has second deal in place to package our pick + #25 and move up for someone like Devin Vassell.

AG for what ultimately becomes Schroder and a strong lottery draft selection? Fine. I can go for that.

Not a huge fan of Schroeder either, but if WeHam aren’t able to get a better return I’d still rather roll the dice.

Insurance to get out of overpaying Fournier and a Fultz/Schroeder back court makes more sense to me than what we are rolling out currently. Adding #25 and a 21 year old wing with upside to package later is another plus.

That being said, I don’t think this deal would even happen because I think they could get better offers for AG. I just don’t see the downside to mixing up what hasn’t worked for years.

Schroder has a terrible attitude/personality. Nice that it's working out for him in OKC, but he'd be a disaster here for what we'd expect of him. Hard pass.

I think trading AG before Fournier would be a step back.

Evan can't be traded any more, until and if he takes player's option, so any Evan trade is waste of time to talk about.
Gordon after this season ( that i find no reasons to resume at this stage) only has 2 years of his contract left before he is unrestricted free agent. So it's not like you are keeping him on rookie contract just because you like him, he will walk for nothing or you will trade him inside that 2 years.
