For me it will only be an asterisk as the same as during the ( when did the lockout happen wherein the spurs won againat the knicks? )

It's not like the lock-out seasons have asterisk for their champions. Indeed as the playoffs is a normal 16-team endeavor, I cannot see an asterisk even being applied.
