Interesting, I thought they were going to have them on their home courts but this makes more logistical sense. It's going to be interesting watching and having the broadcast crew in there. Are they piping in NBA 2k sounds for the crowds?

Working with the league’s broadcast partners, the NBA will introduce never-before-seen camera angles and enhanced audio of players and coaches.

Doesn't really matter since it's a scrimmage but I really do think Isaac will play at some point.

Seems more and more likely.

He's already playing 5 on 5 with contact drills and the Magic still have 10 days until the first real game.

The playoffs don't start for another four weeks, so he's got a long time to ramp it up and get ready.

*NBA Shuts down*
Team Staff: "Mo, you are too skinny to battle down on the post, use this time to put on some muscle."
*NBA Starts up*
Team Staff: "Damn Mo, how you gonna get this extra weight up and down the floor?"

He's coming off "I ate and lifted like crazy to gain 20 pounds in 3 months and now my cardio hasn't caught up" itis.

I think Iwundu is the only WeHam draft pick who has managed to stay healthy so far. Isaac, Bamba, Chuma, and Frazier have all missed significant time due to injury (or injury prevention in Bamba's case).

He had been on a minutes restriction due to a stress fracture in his leg. Adding 20 lbs in the span of a couple months is only going to increase the likelihood of a recurrence.

It does make one question the competence of our strength and development team.

Robbins said on the radio that the Magic use some kind of sports data to tell them how many minutes a player can safely play. They put in things like age, weight, injuries and it formulates the minutes allowed to play.

If they are using some tof formula, then they probably already completed a stress test on his body which involved his heartrate during jogging/running etc.

When is never a guarantee. If it were, Orlando would be stacked

With NAW it's when - for me.

Today's edition of the Orlando Magic organization coddling professional basketball players. Silly me for thinking these exhibition games are designed for players to get back in game shape and knock off rust.

It is interesting considering that Fultz came into the bubble (I think) 3 days after Ennis, who started the first scrimage game...

If either of them were labouring physically you'd imagine it was the guy who had COVID, but... Hey... Medical professionals, team staff on the ground et all... :dontknow:

I really hope this is all this is and not the team hiding something worse. I am starting to get annoyed with this uber-conservative approach with our young players.

Absolute joke that he isn't ready to play. This organization is so frustrating with sruff like this. Markieff ( or Marcus can't remember) for the clippers got into the bubble around the same time as markelle hell I think even after and he started for the clippers inthe very first game of the scrimmage. It is ridiculous that a 21 year old isn't ready to go in a scrimmage game where he can do exactly what he is suppose to do. Shake off some Cobb webs.
