If Fultz and Isaac are starters on "opening" night, I would pencil this as the depth chart:

Fultz/Augustin
Fournier/Carter-Williams
Isaac/Ross/Iwundu
Gordon
Vučević/Bamba

Birch and Ennis would only get situational minutes (for example, because of foul trouble).

..

I think its
Fultz/Augustine
Fournier/MCW
Ennis/ Ross
Gordon/ Isaac
Vucevic/ Bamba.

We can still showcase Gordon at his more natural position, Isaac can give some of his energy to Bamba. ( and cover his mistakes).
If we play Toronto, I like Isaac as the backup center and match minutes with Ibaka. Clifford rarely ever tries anything different though.

I’d rather have Isaac guarding Siakim whenever AG isn’t on him, that should be our main concern.

If Isaac is playing backup center than who guards Siakam when AG is on the bench ? Ross, Fournier, Ennis, Iwundu ?

Those matchups give me nightmares !

I forgot about Clark! Even so same result imo just hope Clark hits a couple threes to offset some of the damage.

lol I feel like both Isaac and Fultz are dubious as to why they aren't playing

Amazing. The language on his return shifted to more optimistic in recent weeks and now this... he must be looking really good.

I'm honestly quite shocked. A month ago I thought for sure there was no chance of this happening. But again I guess that was me going of Weltman's comments which have proven time and time again to be unreliable. This is absolutely great news though. Hopefully come playoff time he can be playing starting level minutes for this team again.

This is great news, Fultz was always going to come back we just had to wait for the fitness staff to give the ok on his cardio.

Isaac was the big question, Hell, Weltman wouldn’t commit to JI playing at all this restart, so for him to be ready before the seeding games start is surprising, except that you can never know where a player is at with this current front office.

Do you all think he goes straight to the starting lineup when he returns or it’s there a chance JI comes off the bench at all for AG?

ESPN Power Rankings: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29519717/nba-power-rankings-best-worst-case-scenarios-all-22-teams

16. Orlando Magic
Record: 30-35 (.462)
Title odds: +50000
Previous ranking: 14

Best-case scenario: Markelle Fultz takes another step in his development, and Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon get hot and lift the Magic, behind a strong game plan from Steve Clifford, to a shocking first-round upset of the Bucks in an unpredictable bubble environment.

The NBA returns in July

The 2019-20 NBA season resumes on July 30 at Walt Disney World.

• Key dates in the restart
• Team-by-team preview
• Life inside the bubble
• Top 50 players in the restart

Worst-case scenario: The Magic are going to the playoffs -- the Nets and Wizards are too depleted to jump a young Orlando group -- but the Magic still don't have enough star power to carry them past the first round. The Magic make the short drive home and try to find the superstar who has eluded them since Dwight Howard's departure. -- Friedell

Remaining schedule: BKN, SAC, IND, TOR, PHI, BOS, BKN, NO

AG would have to match minutes with Siakam. Having Birch or Bamba guarding Ibaka isn't a good scenario.

How did POR defend Siakam in the scrimmage? Pretty much most teams in the league know how to defend him already right? Why can't we do the same?

^ Shot looks a LOT less pushy than it did just four short months ago.

Hopefully there's some progress being made.

We (Isaac) defended him better than anyone this season. His 17.3 ppg is the lowest against any team he played more than once, while shooting 35.7% from the field. Isaac & Giannis are the best 1 on 1 defenders against him in the leaque by far.

Isaac even played him well in the playoffs which people try to use as a talking point against Isaac. IIRC Siakam did a lot of damage against everybody else and Isaac guarded him well 1 on 1.
