In before people accuse him of lying because of conditioning stuff lol.

For serious though, glad he wasn't affected badly health wise other than the conditioning

Well, assuming this is on the up-and-up, it definitely explains the minute restrictions and babying of him throughout all of this.

Alright, I’ll cut his some slack for a short while ... which looks to be all the time we have left.

But if he doesn’t show up turning heads in a good way on Day 1 next season I’m going to stop defending him. I have been carrying that flag for a few years now but I just cant do it anyone without him showing me more.

Yeah.. it affects everyone differently. So i def cam believe about the breathing/conditioning part. Still though.. let him do a lot of cardio to bring his conditioning back.

The "Timing" of this is convenient... There are criticisms with his conditioning and now this story hits. I'm glad he's okay... but why tell people you had COVID-19 now?

Maybe... because he is being highly criticised and wants to let people know why has an issue with his conditioning. :dontknow:

Pretty sure Magic officials would be required to know if their player had COVID and any sort of information like this would not be publicized from Bamba if it wasn't knowledge to the team prior. Come on now. If that isn't the case and he is lying, that would be beyond stupid and Bamba is a smart kid.

Doubting things or trying to create a false narrative to fit a personal theory on why someone is not playing/a bust/bad/someone you never liked etc is kinda ****.

Adds up...maybe Fultz’ unexplained absence is same. Board heroes condemn it, but Orl brass is pretty consistent about being discreet with player info and backing their guys

I always thought that a good portion of the population was stupid but the stupids are brazenly outing themselves now

He is probably having lingering symptoms of breathing. Make it hard to play a very active game if you can’t breathe. Orlando Magic organization is pretty quiet when it comes to our players so, not surprised we didn’t know.

Would not be surprised if he's still feeling it, based on some fairly widespread reports that it lingers for a long time afterwards.

Bamba (with help from the magic) should have revealed this sooner. Would have taken a lot of pressure off and avoided unnecessary drama. What was the point of hiding it?
