I kind of like this deal that was proposed.
Magic receive: Caris Levert and the 19th pick
Nets receive Aaron Gordon and the 15th pick

There are some other interesting ones in this, and the last one (Evan Fournier for Norman Powell) seems quite wishful on the Magic's part, but would help the Raptors clear more cap space for off-season of 2021.

LeVert is good, and i wanted him earlier but now his price could be too high. Ideally he is your bench ball handler. Valueable but not rising your ceiling much.
Most interesting is Hayward but it would be very tough to fit his salary even before Isaac and Fultz extensions. We would have to dump Aminu or Ross. (or Fournier opt out)
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

i couldnt sign off on Hayward. He would leave after his 1 year. He left Utah to go play for his college coach. I cant see him happy in Orlando.
Levert impressed me and i think he could till grow more. Also, Orlando would still have a mid lottery pick to take a swing on a player if that trade idea were to go thru. I like that one best out of all the options. The Powell trade would be my 2nd preference

No and I doubt COVID helps. They may push it back plus with the new G-league select team they already can get 18y.o's into the fold so there isn't as much of a pressing need to get the change done.

Fournier for Powell would be a steal, and if there's any chance the offer is on the table we should snap it up. Improved defense, improved transition game, and someone who knows how to play in an offense that keeps the ball alive and moving. All for only $10M a season.
Gordon for Levert, I'm not sure why we'd add the pick swaps. Straight up should get it done.
Vuc/Bamba
Aminu/Clark/(Isaac)
Levert/Iwundu/Okeke
Powell/Ross
Fultz/(Lewis/Maxey/Terry/etc)
If we did both moves we would finally have some offensive firepower on the team. But Levert and Powell are Joe Johnson-esque level lead players, so we'd hit our ceiling competing for a top 4 spot like Indy or old Toronto. That's probably exactly where WeHam want to be.
But, I don't think we've got the value to land either of those guys without giving up something a bit more hefty.

Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?
