Victor Oladipo anyone?

Seeing on the main page that Victor Oladipo wants out of Indiana. Should the Magic right a wrong and make a move? We’d get a star wing again. I am hyper aware of that knee injury though. I’d gladly do a Fournier and Gordon for Dipo and another piece. Thoughts?

Only if he wanted to be here.

Otherwise we're right where Indy is right now.

For Evan? Sure. But I wouldn't give up AG in this deal. Especially since 'Dipo's health is a question mark.

I’d do a Fournier for Oladipo swap but not much more. They don’t have tons of leverage with him wanting out and like you said, the injury.

Fair points by all. I just think it’s an interesting discussion considering a lot of us saw dealing him as a major misstep this franchise made. The injury is concerning, but the thought of getting 2018 VO is interesting

I'd do an Evan and Dipo Swap. btw I thought Dipo was in his last year of his contract. So he is a UFA, right?

He wants to compete for a championship probably. Orlando isn’t on that list.

I'm sure the guy we included in a package with Sabonis to get a 4 month rental of Ibaka is just dying to come back here.

Injuries/age might have him regressing... Also he's in a contract year... Its not exactly a move I'd make for at this point.

Pass. Willing to be a third team to steal assets however.

Oladipo + Turner for Vuc + Fournier

It's a shame Indy have no need for Vuc though. Can't see him and Sabonis being the best fit.

Probably wouldn't trade more than Fournier. Oladipo never looked like himself after the injury. And there's not really a precedent for his injury. And committing a long term deal to what he produced after a quadriceps tear seems dicey. I'd likely pass unless it came at the value of Fournier.

No. Its not only the injury, but he came back to earth already before the injury.

I have always assumed he wants to go to the Wizards.

I would take him, and I would certainly trade Evan + #15 for him.

I'd prefer to keep AG out of the deal and send him to the Wolves or the Warriors for a high pick if we can.

He called Indiana his home and now wants to leave?

forget about him, another of those stars looking for easy path

Sad generation

Lebron killed this game, weak minded players looking for stars to play with them

Orl wouldn't want him, he wouldn't want Orl, Indiana wouldn't want our players.

Not gonna happen. At all. Ever.

Hard pass, declining, injury prone, below average when he plays, turs 29 next year.

Evan in vacuum isn't better, but lasts more than 30 games a year and is way reliable shooter.
Ola is simply another minor injury away from not being nba starter

Why in the world would he force his way to the Wizards of all places?

Because he grew up in Maryland?

The Wizards were not good when he was a kid. Growing up close to the area doesn’t mean he was a die hard fan and even if it were that fan hood is unlikely to be stronger than a desire to win a title. His window to be a factor on a winning team is closing fast due to injuries. He surely doesn’t want to be a part of the Wizards rebuild.

Silly post.
