What are your thoughts?

Lakers are my #2 team and I'm not even all that happy.

Howard and James are two people who just make my skin crawl for some reason.

I guess I'm happy for Vogel, Ms Bus and the rest of the team though.

Largely indifferent, but I'm happy for him. Guy gave the franchise some of its best and most relevant years.

There's something poetic in him having his first (and only other) finals with us, having his first finals win here in Orlando (in 09), and now he's come back and won a finals in Orlando, now playing for the Lakers.

And he's been pretty humbled over the past decade, so overall, good for him I reckon.

Doesn't affect me one way or the other. Way past that.

F him. First person I thought about winning it was Frank Vogel, ironically.

I would of been happy if he won it with anyone else, but it will always been **** LA

Laker fans are the most annoying entitled group of sports fans and don't deserve to get to celebrate a championship, makes me even more upset that the nba would rig it for them this year (#forkobe)

Fans of a team can feel however they want. But I don't understand having disdain for a human being who gave it his all on the floor with the intention to bring a championship to a city for everyone to bask in the glory.

No one owes fans anything. We don't have to cheer a professional sports team. So if a guy wants to go somewhere else, cool.

But for me, you're Magic family for life no matter what happens after.

Hell, I have love for Shaq.

Dwight gave Orlando and me some of the best memories.

I love him and I'm very happy for him.

I wouldn’t say it has nothing to do with us. It has to be a bit disconcerting that the Lakers can luck into another championship in the salary cap era just because they are the Lakers. At least the Spurs’ run gave us some hope that we could build something resembling that. I actively root against any of these super teams in the major markets. Davis forced his way there by quitting on New Orleans and now he gets his ring.

My heart is so incredibly full and happy for him. Congratulations!!!

No, I've always been a little creeped out by Howard.

Good for him. Sad he didnt do.it with the Magic but hey years from now he can always say he was a champion.

Why?

Not fussed, happy for him as much as the any other player

he deserved to retire without a ring.

Ambivalent, enough time has passed that I've moved on from a Magic fan perspective.

I resent him winning one on account of the fact that he played like an a*shole throughout the playoffs though.

having accidental rings is the most overrated achievement in the NBA.

this just goes to show you that it's irrelevant where you draft, who you draft, after all, those players will just hord together on major market teams and will their way out of small market. There is really no reason to keep 30 teams around, 15 of them are farms.
