AG & 2nd rd for Derrick White, Rudy Gay and #11.

Money matches, upgrade PG position and add shooting.
Expiring contacts.

Spend the BPA w/ #11, draft and stash w/15

White is an upgrade in our PG rotation
Chief and Gay can give what AG has
Okeke is going to play SF

Gay & Evan come off the books after the season.

I’m good with this trade as opposed to settling for DSJr.

Derrick White is exactly the kind of player Orlando should be targeting: 21-26 yr old prospect in a crowded rotation that can play above expectations.

This would be a good way to retool for this season and clear cap for next season.

To be honest, I'm not sure who exactly the FO would be targeting by moving up to #8, but assuming there's a real game-changing wing at that spot.I prefer the above trade with SAS, if available. Derrick White is great. No matter what, I'm hoping to move Evan in a separate or bigger deal. Here's an alternative to move up and change a bit...

ORL sends AG and #15
NYK send Bobby Portis, DSJ, and #8

for NY...AG does have some star power and would welcome the challenge and bright lights (even though he's probably not really up to it) and 15 is still a useful pick in this draft. DSJ is upside down at this point and a sore reminder of losing KP.

for ORL...Portis has a one year option, shoots 3's effectively at PF and can hold it down for a year (while Isaac is out) and, possibly, earn a role for the future. He's a physical and versatile young vet who, hopefully, is not a head case and a locker room problem (one bad incident?). I don't really know, but maybe he's just a fierce competitor who couldn't stand a sloth teammate who's out of the NBA now despite obvious NBA talent? DSJ is still interesting and potentially exciting behind and, maybe, next to Fultz...moving up to #8 is the real key, but I'm not sure for whom. I (rationalize) interest in DSJ by saying he's very similar to Fultz and, therefore, we would be committed to a consistent, upbeat offense without DJ pounding the air out of the ball. Our PG's would be more interchangeable and we'd be embracing the pace and ball movement and penetration that was apparent in our handful of exceptional wins this season. Fournier is the other odd man out of this system picture, IMO...thanks to both guys, great players, best wishes.

I really doubt there was actually any interest in DSJ. It's probably a writer trying to get some mileage out of old content. I just can't imagine this front office going into next season with DSJ as the backup for Fultz. I'm not a fan of Augustin, but there is a massive gap in quality between the two at present and this team can't afford to downgrade that significantly after throwing $100M at a veteran center. It's playoffs or bust for this roster.

If resurrecting the cripples, bastards, and broken things that show up in the bargain bin is our front office's master plan, then nobody will be so pleased to hear it as Dragan Bender and Dante Exum. They can't be any more broken than is DSJ right now. He was probably the worst player in the league last year and he isn't really that young anymore. The Knicks should be attaching value if they want him off of their roster.

If this is even remotely possible... sign ME UP! I had said AG + Vuc and that was a hard pill to swallow. But if they did this one.... I'm in. And give me Deni Avdija. He would be a great fit in any system and bring the potential shooting and playmaking skills we need. And at this point... i would take a chance on wiggins. I think he's actually starting to mature some.... and if clifford can maybe tap into any defensive potential... he's worth the money.

Fultz/DJ & MCW(resigned?)
Wiggins/ross
Avdija (yeah... i'll see them giving him the keys from the get go)/Isaac (injured and out)
Aminu/Okeke
Vuc/Bamba

I like it.

If Gordon and #15 is not enough for Wiggins and #2, then this is the kind of equaliser that gets it done.

But not having Fournier nor Gordon, Orlando will suck next year.

If you are Warriors, perfect player you aim is Ben Simmons. He is way more advanced version of Draymoond Green, fits like a glove in their stystem and is better defend than anybody else at his position.

There are so many things Warriors can do before going for Magic overpayed mediocrities

Bucks reportedly interested in Bogdanovic. Let's give them Fournier instead.

Fournier + Ennis

for

DiVincenzo and filler (Hill/Ilyasova/Lopez).

Probably look to flip more pieces down the line.

absolutely not. Derozan is 31 and cant shoot 3's. not a fit for the team or modern offense

Derozan doesnt even shoot them. not interested in trading anything of value for Derozan, nor paying him his last big payday at 31.
