Here goes

Factor Analytics into the draft Prep?
Analytics group has grown a lot since Jeff has gotten here and it makes things easier. says the Analytics team holds a lot of weight when it comes to big board stuff and then the scouts either agree or make changes. The relationship is an easy comfortable one where everyone is heard.

Talk about Chuma?
Modern NBA player, good IQ, versatility on defense stood out and he can shoot. " He's 6'8" and he has really long arms and he can shoot" is word for word a quote. He's a Jeff type of guy from top to bottom.

Hallmarks of a Jeff & John Draft?
Both came up as scouts, they know what to look for and understand more than the normal GM/CEO.

Perception on draft night inside the war room?
Definitely is tense and there is a ton of pressure. Jeff & John are always working the phones and they can multi task and still stay in the moment. They don't get overwhelmed and panic when things start to go haywire.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Always working the phones.... lol

2019 - They should've been able to trade down and still get Okeke.
2018 - They failed to move up and take Doncic or Young.
2017 - Draft "flattened out" so they gave away our pick 25 while Kyle Kuma and Derrick White went in the next 4 picks.

We are the only team in the league without future draft picks other than our own.

These guys are TERRIBLE on the phones. :banghead:

QUESTION: What's the secret to long-term job security as a GM with the Orlando Magic?

ANSWER: "Change nothing. Not.One.Damn.Thing. Can't look stupid if you don't do anything stupid. And the best way to not do something stupid is to not do anything at all."

These two guys, WTF have they done other than nothing at all.
Keep your politics out of my sports
