At least some good news, Iwundu is good 15th man in rotation, Frazier failed to even make deep bench.

See ya in Europe guys !

Gary Clark has a skillset more suited for today's NBA. Iwundu never really did much for me. He needed a consistent 3pt shot to be a rotational player for this team. Frazier never seemed like an NBA player. Clark is better then both and earned a spot with his play during the bubble. I like him.

I'm almost positive Iwundu will get a guaranteed contract somewhere this offseason.

Gary Clark is a fine backup/third string PF, but he's also the 4th PF on the roster right now and that doesn't even include Jonathan Isaac.

I smell a trade.

Yeah, we now have no SFs on the roster unless we plan to use Gordon/Fournier/Ross/MCW out of position. Gotta add something through FA.

This means that this front office, best known as turniing late picks into good players- failed to do only thing they are good at for 3rd straight year , as orlando now has 0 players drafted in second round that are on active roster

Ownership should be looking for new front office after next year. This guys are ready to retire.
I made semi- joking comment back in 2017 that they signed with Orlando to steal money before team actually figures they have no intention to do anything... Man... that joke didn't age well.

I think Clark can play some 3 this year. He' absolutely no threat to put the ball on the floor, but he's shown the ability to stretch the floor and can certainly guard 3's on the other end. I could see him playing a Covington type role on this team.

Not a longterm option by any means tho, && a trade should be on the horizon. I'm just not convinced that one is.

As it stands right now the Magic have *five* natural power forwards (one out for the year) on the roster and *zero* natural small forwards on their roster.

I would be very surprised at this point if they didn't have some sort of Aaron Gordon or Al-Farouq Aminu trade lined up.

This likely means something is coming either in trades or FAs. We have roster spots to fill up.

It means we can trade a player for multiple players now.

Iwundu can play, man. I'd have kept him for $2M.

They better have something else up their sleeves.

Seems like a money saving move. Now they can turn AG's salary for example into 2 or 3 players to fill out the roster.

Gary Clark has the height for a SF ( he is 6'6 barefoot right? ) sadly he can't guard perimeter players .

I like Iwundu, surprised you guys didn't keep him. He should definitely be on an NBA team next season rather than Europe.

He was solid for a late bench guy. He won't be in Europe, pepe is just being pepe on our board. :D

Maybe he asked out to find a bigger role? From his instagram he always seemed like a little bit of a loner compared to the other guys who hung out together.

So what are we looking at right now?
Vuc/Bamba/Birch
Aminu/Clark/(Isaac)
Gordon/Okeke
Fournier/Ross
Fultz/Anthony

With MCW, Ennis, Wes, DJ & Frazier likely heading out...

We need to pick up 3-5 new cheap guys here in free agency.

I don't get why you are upset with them. They've been doing what you've wanted. Trying to win every game... playing vets over young players... getting a retread coach... fighting for that 8th seed... resigning Vuc... not trading Evan... These are all moves you supported.

So why complain about the quality of their draft picks if you are not on board with building through the draft?

Was the payoff of making the playoffs worth missing out on Nesmith getting selected one pick ahead of us?

More minutes for Anthony.
