He's intriguing because he had one really solid year and fell out of favor the next year and sucked.

This is what we target out of the gate? I’m not convinced he is even an upgrade from Iwundu. I hate this front office so much.

Bacon was really terrible this past year with the Hornets. Like one of the worst players in the NBA level bad.

But he was actually quite solid the year before. He does have experience with Clifford.

The Magic can only really get this type of player. Gotta hope he breaks out and becomes the next Wade/Curry

MCW and Dwayne Bacon are both former players under Clifford. What other Hornets castoffs want to join the Magic?

That's our starting SF. I think Bacon/Mane are the Ennis/Iwundu replacement. If true, it's more of just shuffling the deck.

He's likely only a bench player, we still need to address our starting SF. Because if this is it, that means that either Bacon, Ross, Fournier, Okeke, or AG will start there. I'm cool with Okeke or Fournier starting at SF as I'm cool with giving Okeke a shot, and if it's Fournier, it likely means Cole's starting.

Hmm intresting pick up. Never thought about him. Never was to big on him but he is still relatively young with some untapped potential.

All depends on contact, if he is our mle player then im not as big on the deal. If its for a minimum or a lower end contract then its fine.

Definitely not true. Bacon is another bad season away from Europe. We’ve signed better players, we just have a complacent FO who wants nothing but low risk moves.

We don't really have the money for those players tbh. Bacon has talent but he needs to put it all together. Probably a low chance of it but I'm not batting an eye if we go from Ennis/Iwundu to Bacon, it's all along the same realm for me.

At least it's not like.. Ben Gordon or CJ Watson or Afflalo who we played 20-30 minutes while having a young team.

Vet min for sure. No need to use any part of the MLE on a player like this.

I need to see the $ before I go and declare Bacon as a starter or not.

If he got more than the minimum...

I can't imagine this is someone they consider a starter. Just someone Clifford has comfort with.
