Does Orlando have a legit shot at Giannis in 2021?

With the recent moves Weltman and Hammond are taking, signing guys to short 1 year deals is brilliant!

This moves gives us flexibility to remain competitive next season and we can either extend both JI and Fultz for the future.

But then I'm thinking why draft Cole Anthony and Karim Mane if you really believe in Fultz or if he gets to pricey?

I'm thinking unless Fultz completely turns around and becomes an Superstar, we can move on from him!

Also now would be the right time to extend ONLY JI because of his injury his and could Orlando could extend him to a cheaper deal.

But in all honesty, Orlando would easily renounce both of them to make room for Giannis, if he were to come here!

Absolutely not - unless we manage to snag an unhappy veteran star without destroying our base...then maybe, just maybe. He will go where he can legit contend...regardless of the age of teammates, cap situation, coach, etc.

Pretty sure Giannis is about to sign a Supermax with the Bucks. We’re not signing anyone of consequence in Orlando until we’re all dead.

We have the least chance of any team in the league to sign him. There's probably teams in Europe that have a better shot at him than we do.

No hope Orlando Magic fans as usual! I guess I'm the only or few optimistic Orlando Magic fans on the planet!

T-Cat, my man. I’m glad you asked.

I’m happy to say that 100% Orlando absolutely DOES have a shot at Giannis thanks to these moves.

Want to know how? ... first, let’s discuss a wonderful Time Share opportunity I have for you!

I feel like the first question you have to ask yourself is "what does Orlando give a free agent like Giannis that Milwaukee doesn't?" I can't think of any advantage the Magic have over his current team at the moment. I would expect the Magic front office to at least make the phone call, but I can't imagine anything substantial would come of it.

Our only chance is if we can find a way to get some other star to team him up with. So no chance. He isn’t coming here to play with Nikola Vucevic and Markelle Fultz.
