What is this organization doing? How many players are we allowed to have?
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.-John 3:16

Go Magic, Go Dwight, Go Vuc, Go Paolo, Go Keegan :)

15 players on guaranteed contracts and 2 players on two-way contracts.

Who is he? How old is he as well? I'm still for getting young unproven players. Especially guards and wings at the moment.

He just turned 23 year old. Was a 2nd round pick for the Pistons last year. They signed him to a two-way contract and he spent most of the year in the G-League. Put up pretty good numbers, but everyone does in the G-League.

He was the starting point guard for Tennessee who had Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield in the front court and were both drafted.

I like how The Magic will have a point guard on a Two-Way Deal.

It's critical if two of the three point guards are injured.

That pretty much rounds out the roster baring a Trade.

This seems pointless. We obviously didn't like him that much last year. I don't know what he has proven over the past year to change that. Given that he settled for a two-way deal, I think it's safe to say that Detroit didn't see anything worth hanging on to. He is 23 and very far from useful.

I do wonder how difficult it is to get players to sign these two-way deals given the quality of players that get inked to them. I know they got bumped recently to make them more appealing for players. This is disappointing. Surely we could've done better with the 45th pick. Perhaps these two-way contracts are just a really tough sell.

If Magic did not like him that much last year then Magic would not sign him to a 2 way contract

We didn't have a 2nd round pick last year and the kid was drafted, how is it obvious we didn't like him???

Dude, if you don't want to be a fan, fine. You are just bitching to bitch.

Of course we had a pick. We sold it to LAL. Regardless of whether or not we’d traded it prior to that (we hadn’t), we could’ve easily acquired a pick if we liked said player. If your plan is to sign someone that goes undrafted, then you obviously aren’t high on whichever player that ends up being. There is literally no downside at all to drafting someone in the 2nd round. You get the first crack at that player and you aren’t obligated to sign them.

There will be players picked at or after 45 that are better than him.

I like this signing. He has good size, and improved as a playmaker and a shooter at Tennessee. Perfect kind of guy for a 2 way.

I remember his scouting reports. Very fast point guard with good advanced stats if i remember correctly. Many pegged him as a sleeper last year. Having two playmakers as two ways seems very smart after what we have been through last year. I like the signing.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Read on Twitter

Bone averaged 17.5 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 6.9 APG on a .428/.383/.770 slash in the G-League last year.
