If you have to choose between Mobley or Kuminga, I would suggest Mobley. He has already shown everything you could ask for ina modern big. So far Kuminga ( not counting on his G league career ) is like those players who just overpowers competition. Then again we haven't seen the GL teams play. Who knows he could be the consensus #1 pick if he shows out.
I really like Mobley, he looks like a can't miss. I think he's a close comparison to Bosh.

Just dont check his stinker stats in his last game lol. Yeah Mobley looks like a twig so in history where we took JI and Bamba.. he surr is a WeHam pick.

No, no, no. I don’t scout like that. The college and prep game can be fools gold with stats. Great players can be put in systems which don’t allow for mega stats. Likewise, players can be force fed buckets or simply face inferior opponents all day.

I want to watch the game and evaluate what the box score doesn’t tell us. You’re still going to have a lot of misses / busts but if you simply go off of box scores you might as well just flip a coin or listen to mocks and let other people tell you who to like.

There aren't many players who would even attempt that pass. && there are even less who could actually make it. He is really special.

He doesn’t even look impressed with himself.

Same thing I've been repeating for the last umpteen million years.

1) Stop caring about making the playoffs and focus on developing our young players.
2) Trade Henny's guys (all of em).
3) Secure odds to land a top pick.
4) Draft > Develop > Trade or Let go of players who don't progress > Rinse and Repeat.
5) Keep the books trim.

The reason I liked Mobley is that i watched a high school game with him against Wiseman. He's not as athletic, but he seemed like he had more grit and fire. I do think Mobley is a PF like a Bosh with a sprinkle of Garnett.

When are we going to acknowledge that we can't talk about Top 5 prospects around here? Not even a Vuc+our pick kind of trade could net us that.

Becoming a bigger and bigger fan of Scottie Barnes the more I watch him. Loving the NBA prospects that the Seminoles keep churning out.

That Fultz injury looked nasty. I don’t see how that isn’t season ending.

I’m going all in on Jalen Suggs. I want this guy in a Magic uni next year. Make it happen!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to complain about any of these 3.

Honestly, throw Mobley or Kuminga in there as well.

Get me a top 5 pick in this class and I’m happy.

Point being ... CAN WE PLEASE JUST TANK ALREADY!!!!??

Speaking of players in our realistic range there are some interesting wings. Kispert and Ron Harper shooting lights out, Dosunmu being a tough dude.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

We’re a lottery team now.

We’re probably in the #8-12 pick range rather than the top 3-5 as most of us want but we are not going to the playoffs.

I am not quite sure we are. Gordon and Fournier are legit starters, good enough playmakers to use Anthony off ball. Last night was a disaster from personel stand point it wont happen every time. We can beat half of the east teams with Gordon, Fournier, Vucevic and Ross creating offense, even MCW can get to the rim. Yesterday we were around 30 % of our strength and Cole first game as starter still we did better than Clippers.

We were only 33-40 last year with Isaac playing a good amount of games. Now Fultz is out and we replaced DJ with a rookie who is very far from ready to run an NBA team.

Don’t let a good start against a weak schedule fool you.

This is a very bad team and the East has improved.

Let's see where we are half-way through the season..as much as I wanna tank all the way.. I don't know what is going on with the league right now when title contenders ( Lakers/Clips/Bucks) somehow managed to lose 10-20 pt leads in the 4th quarter.

Our record might surprise us ( for good or bad depending which side you are on )

P.S. anyone watching Mobley right now?
